Came here for takeout. First thing I noticed is it looks like a mom and pop shop. You can order your takeout and sit down. There is a menu board above the counter with no prices. Would be nice to have a menu with prices. I ordered the small jerk chicken and it came up to roughly $12. The portion size is pretty good for a small, and the food was hot when I received it. Love this place the Foooood is AMAZING! The stew peas and white rice and the red peas soup are amazing. Everything on the menu is great, to be honest. I just love my stewpeas, and they make it soooo good.
I come every now and then with my dad. This was one of the first places I ever had j*** chicken before and it’s pretty consistent with the taste. They give you a lot of rice and the veggies are a nice balance to the overall dish. Sometimes you get some pretty bony pieces and the gravy isn’t as thick but all in all, one of my favourite places in Brampton to stop when I get the craving. Friendly staff and family.
