Friendly staff always willing to help

I first visited Danforth Food Market in Brampton over 5 years ago. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the store and I found the customer service top notch. Throughout my many visits, I have never had a poor experience with the staff when asking for help, when inquiring about products, or when asking about sales.

I don't purchase meat from this store but the prices of my purchases of tea, coconut water, and such are what I expected.

I am thankful for having this Jamaican grocer in Brampton.

Dishonest, fish price said $8.99 ib got to the cashier and it was for $ 9. 49 Ib. I informed the cashier that the price said 8.99Ib . She said at the bottom of the shelf it also said. 50 cent for scaling the fish is added. I know for sure there was no such thing listed . I informed the cashier to please place that extra. 50 cent where customers can see it. I asked her if they have any that is not scale . She said they are out of stock. That I know was a damn lie. They didn't have any unscale fish in the first place. I am trying my best to support the black businesses but some of them making it hard to continue to support them. I don't think I will go back there.

Very clean; great service; fresh produce and products. I highly recommend this Caribbean Grocery Store.

Any snacks from Jamaica you miss just visit this location ?worth the trip tbh

Best spot for Caribbean groceries. I was able to find soursop here and June plum.

Bought a box of chicken with leg attach, and I had to discard of the whole box. Rotten to the core ,someone told me I should have returned it, but I lived too far and couldn't be bothered. I also bought a jar of blackstrap molasses, and when I opened it there was no seal on the bottle, I had to discard of it. Since anyone could have tampered with it. I don't know if all the danforth food markets are like that but the I frequent regularly is on Silverstone and Martin Grove.

Staff, although polite, seemed indifferent if I shopped there or not. The meat I bought there was not as fresh as other places.

I don't miss back home since I started shopping at Danforth Food Market. Everything I've love growing up back home is sold here and the owner(s) and staff are super nice always and having small connection with customers.

Every time I have visited this location they were friendly. The store is clean and well-stocked. I would recommend this grocery store for your West Indian food needs.
