First time in a long time visiting Danforth. They always have good stock, very fresh and decent prices

Bought a box of chicken with leg attach, and I had to discard of the whole box. Rotten to the core ,someone told me I should have returned it, but I lived too far and couldn't be bothered. I also bought a jar of blackstrap molasses, and when I opened it there was no seal on the bottle, I had to discard of it. Since anyone could have tampered with it. I don't know if all the danforth food markets are like that but the I frequent regularly is on Silverstone and Martin Grove.
Staff, although polite, seemed indifferent if I shopped there or not. The meat I bought there was not as fresh as other places.
I don't miss back home since I started shopping at Danforth Food Market. Everything I've love growing up back home is sold here and the owner(s) and staff are super nice always and having small connection with customers.
Every time I have visited this location they were friendly. The store is clean and well-stocked. I would recommend this grocery store for your West Indian food needs.

What a waist of real estate kmt
Forget about heading there to enjoy the discounted prices in their flyer. EVERYTHING I purchased rang up at the regular price. If I wasn't so caught up in chattin' with others in the check-out line, I would have noticed... My bad - but what in the actual....??? Too trusting I guess. Be true to your flyer prices!! I won't be back. Especially when Seasons/Freshwin slays you over all the products you import from China. They don't even have as many. Yuck.
