They were hired to cater our lunch at our dealership and i was impressed with their organization and food. They also had Halal chicken available which they cooked separately than the other meats. They also cooked the veggie items before the meat items as not to cross contaminate. Definitely would recommend

From Mary at the office helping me would food items to the staff that cooked and served. They showed up on time, the staff was so friendly and nice. Set up was great, food was fantastic everyone loved it...we had about 145 people and there was some leftovers...and clean up was seamless. Thank you all so much for being a part of this day...definitely recommend Fire It Up for future events!

We booked Fire It Up’s BBQ Feast combo for our Hawaiian luau–themed wedding reception in August. We went all out and added premium sides — shrimp skewers, pineapple skewers, grilled vegetables, rice & peas, and oxtail gravy. The food was insane — fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. Shrimp, pineapple, and the rice & peas with oxtail gravy were huge crowd favourites, and our guests were still raving about the food days after the party.
Carissa and her team were an absolute dream to work with. Communication was easy from day one, and on the day of, they showed up right on time, set everything up so beautifully, and kept the food flowing without a single hiccup — even when we fell behind schedule. They somehow managed to keep everything looking perfect and then left the space spotless (which, let me tell you, is the greatest gift you can give a couple hosting 120+ people).
Honestly, they played such a big role in making our celebration a success. We’ll be talking about that meal for years, and I’m already trying to think of excuses to hire them again. If you’re on the fence — just book them. You’ll thank me later.

FIU catered my best friend’s wedding during cocktail hour and dinner service. The lobster rolls, lamb chops, steak, grilled vegetables and shrimp were spectacular. I definitely ate more than I should have.
This was the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding, no exaggeration. I’m actually quite disappointed that they don’t have a restaurant because I don’t know when I’ll get to eat their shrimp and lamb chops again.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I had this company cater a work BBQ event on Canada day which had almost 200 guests. Peter and his team were a pleasure to work with from the time they arrived to the end of the food service. They were so accommodating, very efficient and their customer service was second to none. I opted for the all you can eat package and I was so impressed with how efficient they were with cooking the food as every thing was cooked fresh and there was never a wait for food! The food was cooked to perfection - the steak was tender, the burgers, sausages and chicken were juicy; the side salads were so flavorful and delicious! Everyone complimented how good the food was and how friendly Peter and his team were. I can't thank Peter and his team enough for making my event a success and I look forward to working with this company for future events! Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of food and their amazing service and would highly recommend this catering company!

Fire It Up is a fantastic catering and event planning service. I was a guest at a special family friend birthday celebration with over 100 attendees (various ages and ethnicities). It was planned as an outdoor event and the weather did not want to cooperate. The event however was great regardless for several reasons but to a large extent the food, quality of service, and upbeat atmosphere created by the catering company. The event started with an antipasto spread and as rain poured down with ease everything was shifted under cover. The bbq smelled wonderful and when it was time for lunch there was no shortage of absolutely delicious piping hot options; from steak, to large flavourful shrimp skewers, grilled chicken, juicy sausages and great burgers, accompanied by any topping or side you can imagine and also the option of grilled veggies and salads. No one was commenting on the intermittent but frequent downpours but all were obviously enjoying the food and fun. The staff was smiling and courteous even though they were frequently required to endure the rain to best arrange for seating for guests, and to keep things as dry as possible. I was very impressed with the quality of food and service and would highly recommend this catering company.
