They also cooked the veggie items before the meat items as not to cross contaminate. Definitely would recommend

From Mary at the office helping me would food items to the staff that cooked and served. They showed up on time, the staff was so friendly and nice. Set up was great, food was fantastic everyone loved it...we had about 145 people and there was some leftovers...and clean up was seamless. Thank you all so much for being a part of this day...definitely recommend Fire It Up for future events!

We booked Fire It Up’s BBQ Feast combo for our Hawaiian luau–themed wedding reception in August. We went all out and added premium sides — shrimp skewers, pineapple skewers, grilled vegetables, rice & peas, and oxtail gravy. The food was insane — fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. Shrimp, pineapple, and the rice & peas with oxtail gravy were huge crowd favourites, and our guests were still raving about the food days after the party.
Carissa and her team were an absolute dream to work with. Communication was easy from day one, and on the day of, they showed up right on time, set everything up so beautifully, and kept the food flowing without a single hiccup — even when we fell behind schedule. They somehow managed to keep everything looking perfect and then left the space spotless (which, let me tell you, is the greatest gift you can give a couple hosting 120+ people).
Honestly, they played such a big role in making our celebration a success. We’ll be talking about that meal for years, and I’m already trying to think of excuses to hire them again. If you’re on the fence — just book them. You’ll thank me later.
