Worst experience ever!!!!! I ordered beef with broccoli and there was literally three pieces of beef and a bowl of broccoli and when I called the restaurant, the lady was very rude on the phone and I was not able to get my money back! Do not order from them. They’re very cheap people…. And It reflects in their food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been gong here for a year or two and it was really good at the start but I won’t go again The last three time the food was horrible I just spent 70 and can’t eat any of it Noodles were mush, wings again burnt ,breaded shrimp had 2 inches of dough on it and so over cooked I couldn’t even bite into it I asked for plain rice and got rice covered in soy sauce the lobster sauce was horrible It’s a shame cause I used to love this place Not that this has anything to do with food but the front big window has been broken for many many months a bit dangerous to people What a waste of 70.00

I have been going there for at least 20 years and.have.had issues in past, but this is the last time. Ordered a week ago for 5 and rice was sticky rice not fried. Obviously not cooked right Have them another chance just now and no compensation for bad rice What a joke of an operation.

Golden Palace has been a staple in our family for decades. Thrilled to be back here last night. Not much has changed- the decor, the uniforms, and wait staff and of course, the amazing egg rolls and accompanying food! The sauce they create for the Cantonese chow mein is divine, as is their GP style chicken soo guy. One of the best honey garlic sauces (ribs), excellent chicken balls, and flavourful rice complimented by their aromatic soy sauce all blended to give us the incredible flavours we expect from Golden Palace. Long time family friend “Wayne” was our waiter- service was impeccable and his friendly demeanour is always appreciated. What can I say other than thank you for another great experience! See you again soon, Wayne! ?????️
ROACH in food.I’ve been eating here for the past three years. Today, I found a roach in my red sauce…saw something black and it looked odd. I saw legs and was disgusted. Threw away my entire food. I will never return.

Just ordered some takeout, cantonese chow mein was ok but breaded shrimp were absolutely disgusting. They were cooked through ok but the ratio of shrimp to breading left a lot to be desired. They should order some from Golden Lake up on Bovaird to see what is acceptable. These were 90% bread terrible, will never go

I have never in my life seen such bad service like this, ordered from Uber eats and thank God for that because if not I wouldn’t get my money back.I ordered general Tao and got a different sauce, spring rolls are burnt really really bad, tried to eat it but had to stop from the taste of charcoal from hell.And cantonese chow mein noodles came burnt???? And smelling super charred, with all meats on it coming over cooked and dried. There was even garlic all over it. Completely inedible.I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant, and I’ve always tried my hardest to not waste food but all of this is going straight to the trash because it’s truly disgusting

Great food. I have been searching for a place to replace my old favourite Golden Lake, and this is it!!! Very good food, and good portion sizes except for the rice, which is on the small size compared to most restaurants. I would recommend the long bbq ribs, fried chicken wings, and pork fried rice. All were amazing enough for me to order two weeks in a row!!! My new place for Chinese food. Goodbye Golden Lake.
