Golden Spice Patties

Oxtail was delicious, jerk chicken was well seasoned and the beef patties were very tasty. Will definitely be back to try more. The owner was very friendly as well. Go and try it, you won’t be disappointed!
Update: Went back to try the stew peas and it was soooo good! This is my new favourite spot for Caribbean food.

While I prefer cooking and eating at home, I love knowing there are a few restaurant spots that match the flavor of my home-cooked authentic Jamaican meals. This place has officially become one of my go-to spots! Initially, I was drawn in by their fresh, natural fruit juices made daily. But when I tried their stew peas with pigstail and chicken foot, I was completely sold! It’s safe to say this has become one of my favorite places to eat out when I’m on the road!

Website said each patty was $2.50 but was charged $3 each and I wasn't a fan of the flavour of the patties, meat tasted artificial

Fantastic food and fantastic service! The patties were great and the BBQ chicken w oxtail gravy were even better! We also had the ice cream which was creamy and good! Thank you!

Decided to finally stop in to grab some patties today after passing this location multiple times. So glad I did :) We ended up getting the jerk chicken poutine, fried chicken combo, beef, chicken & spicy chicken patties as well as trying the sugar cane juice. Amazing service & tasty fresh food!!!! We will be back soon.

Amazing food!!! I had a beef patty, some festival and a small oxtail dinner and everything was absolutely delicious. Got some really good service as well so I will definitely be going back. 10/10 recommend if you're looking some food good authentic Jamaican food.

Amazing food, definitely my go to Jamaican restaurant and I’m not from the area! I’ll have to drive an hour to get there. Great customer service as well, super sweet and friendly. Price was very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!!

On October 15, 2024, I went to Golden Spice Patties, on Rutherford Rd and Glidden in Brampton, my first time there. All I have to say is Yummmm yummmm yummmm!!!!!
I had the oxtail and curry goat both with extra gravy, rice and peas, and of course I tried the jerk chicken patties! Oxtail and curry goat was full of flavor, lots of tastey gravy! The customer service was excellent!! I'll be back to try the jerk chicken and sweet potato pudding! Thank you Golden spice patties restaurant for a great experience!!!! You rock!!! See you soon! ?

I was looking for a new beef patty place, since the OTHER famous patty place in Brampton went downhill. I saw some of the reviews about this place and gave it a shot. I'm happy I did. The patties are flaky, they don't skimp on the filling, and the spicy beef patty actually has spiciness! All jokes aside, the patties are really good, the service is fast, the employees are very welcoming (speak to Donovan, he will take care of you), and the price is fair. For what it's worth, I spoke to another employee about why they all had the same emblem on their shirts, and from what I gathered, they are affiliated with a ministry and soup kitchen in the area. I have alot of respect for people and businesses that try to give back to the community and who care for others. I came back the next day and bought 3 dozen more patties to take to a party and I will definitely be back for more in the future. If you're looking for a great beef patty, go to Golden Spice.
