Golden Star Chinese Food

I ate from here years ago and found a hair fried into my chicken wing and mistakes happen. I haven’t ordered in a while and just recently started skip it to my house today, there is a rope cooked into the beef assuming it wasn’t cleaned properly. The food is not carefully handled here clearly. I will never be ordering from this location again.

Bought chicken wings at this restaurant two nights ago. Chicken was raw and had a stinky smell. Returned it the next day and demanded a refund. Never again will I buy food from this place.

What most of the negative reviewers don't seem to understand, is you're NOT going to a 5-star dining establishment where they give you hand towels at the door and bow when you leave. This is a strip plaza department storefront where you buy cheap and get cheap. Go in with backalley expectations, and you'll like the food. Brampton aint for any of you snobs.

Absolutely by far the worst rice I’ve ever had! The chicken in it is questionable and the beef and shrimp in the house rice taste like nothing!! Never again! And they don’t offer hot sauce?

This place is amazing. We always order direct from them rather than through food delivery app. They will be honest about how long it will take.The folks running this place are exceptionally good people. They know their regulars by first name and ask about their families. Where can you find that nowadays?The menu is huge and we are slowly making our way through it. They serve both Chinese and Guyanese food. All your typical chicken balls, spring rolls, etc are there but I suggest to go off the regular. Spicy green beans are my favourite and the chili chicken is so full of flavor. If you find the food bland it's because you're ordering "western chinese" and not giving your taste buds a trip. Do yourself a flavour and try something different.

Lady at front is rude. They made flat food and than instead of correcting it started fighting back. Cheapest quality ingredients and worst Chinese food ever

Best Chinese food in Brampton! Not only is the food delicious the staff are amazing! The lady at the front is always so incredibly nice and friendly. She's truly a sweetheart! I definitely recommend to anyone in the Brampton area or to anyone who is visiting! :)Thank you Golden Star!!!!

They are very good. Always polite on the phone (the man or woman). Prices gone up a bit but worth it!!! Always get my Chinese from them

I used to come here often many years back. They have gone downhill since then. Chicken started to taste very soapy. They certainly need better ingredients.
