Went and got what we were looking forward to was a nice fish and chips I ordered a piece of breaded sole and a portion of the special, haddock and chips Got home my wife found she needed a carving knife for the sole, and I Just had the haddock, the sides were like eating bubble gum, had to throw out half plus overcooked chips Won’t order from here for a very long time, really disappointed

I ordered for take out fish &ship. After checked at my place No spoones. I went back store and ask for why not add . He not apologize and saying some customer not take spoon . Stupid answer!! I told you have to put spoon it's your service just smile no apologize.

I’m VERY upset they closed early on sunday october 13th… but advertised as closing at 8pm, yet closed by 7:30, unless they just didn’t open today at all which they should’ve advertised on their website and google.I drove all the way here 20 minutes to be disappointed and hungry. Tried to call ahead from before i got there and no answer so they were not available to take my phone order.

The halibut is excellent, the best in Brampton; a title I once bestowed on Heritage whose quality is top notch but whose cooking is inconsistent (ie overcooking the halibut) I only wish they had fries and ONION RINGS as good as those at Heritage. Henry's replied to my review that they make their own fries but in my opinion they taste like the bulk frozen fries many food establishments use.

Had an amazing fish Cod and chips, so good! The fish was perfectly cooked, the chips were to die for and the tartar sauce was out of this world. The staff was very sweet and gave great service.

For over two decades, I'd enjoyed dining in and taking out from Henry's. Phenomenal fish and chips every time, and a great friendly staff.
About five or six years ago, that changed when I and a friend went in to find what seemed to be new ownership/management. Ordered my favourite fish and chips plate. Buried beneath my chips, I found a long black hair. I took it to the serving counter to bring it to the attention of the staff.
No apology. No offer to replace the meal. So we paid for our meals and quietly left.
One week later, we went back, thinking, it was a one off. This time I checked the plate as soon as it came to the table. Same problem. A long black hair under the food. Maybe this was the new house special. No offer from waiting staff to correct the problem this time either, even as it was shown in real time to them. We didn't pay for the meal this time, but left it on the table.
Avoid this place. It was a business with integrity and a name once, but in my opinion, that is not the case any longer.
