One of the best fish and chip shops in Brampton! Fresh, generous portions and friendly staff make Henry's a must visit for those looking for tasty, traditional fish and chips :)

I never used to like fish & chips… until Henry’s — this place completely changed my mind!
The batter on the fish is absolutely amazing — so light, fluffy, and perfectly crispy. The fish itself was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and served at the perfect temperature. They had all the condiments available (salt, pepper, tartar sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and malt vinegar), but honestly I didn’t even need any of it because the fish was THAT good.
We also tried the poutine and it was delicious — not overly salty at all, which I really appreciated.
A huge shoutout to our host/waiter Olivia — she was truly the sweetest and most energetic person. She was knowledgeable, patient, and so kind, even while the restaurant was getting busy. She treated every customer with care and equal attention, which was so refreshing to see. She also helped us with a last-minute order change (thankfully before the cooks started it!) and even arranged for the Henry’s platter to be divided since my parents decided to share. That level of service really made our experience special.
The restaurant itself feels very homey, comfy, and classic — you can tell it’s a place that’s truly loved by the community. The washrooms were super clean and looked newly renovated as well.
Whether dining in or taking out, you can really feel how much this place is appreciated by so many customers. My family and I left very happy and we’ll definitely be back again — especially for the haddock!

I was super hungry and the Cashier was super helpful and friendly, and I would depend bring a friend to this restaurant. I think that when you get great service you always come back. I honestly wish the price wasn't so steep but that's life now.
It was a bit out of my way but I came here for Fish and Chips (the small halibut plate) on the recommendation of a friend. It was great. I'll make the trip again for sure. I just wished that the large halibut and chips came with coleslaw.
