Indian Punjabi Bazar is a great place for anyone who loves Indian food and culture. It’s both a restaurant and a grocery store, so you can enjoy a tasty Punjabi meal and also buy all your favorite Indian groceries in one visit. The food is fresh, flavorful, and feels like home — especially the chana bhatura and samosas. The staff is friendly and caring. I specially come from kitchener to this store every Wednesday. Their owner Sukhraj is very welcoming. He goes above and beyond to assist you. Guys! This store is a pure gem!!

Nice store

Most of the products are expired and still on the shelves.. They have the audacity to lower the price to $1 but does not want to throw them.
This business needs to be reported to Health authorities for the violations.
This is the reason I dont shop at these desi stores but due to karwachauth I need to visit this store for the preparation.
Also they will rip u off for the Sweets so always ask the price before buying as they have not labeled it on the sweets. Once they pack it in the box they dont take it back...

Called the grocery section at 9:01 PM on October 10, 2025; the lady who answered was flat-out rude and unhelpful. If your staff can’t manage basic courtesy or customer service, they shouldn’t be on the phone. Hire people who actually know what they are doing.If this is the standard of your customer service, it’s embarrassing. Train your staff to handle basic phone etiquette or don’t have such unethical cashier answer calls at all.

My experience with Indian Punjabi Bazaar team and food was absolutely fantastic! This was a catering event that served mainly Vegetarian at lunch and the outstanding Goat and Chicken curry dishes at dinner. I cannot say enough about the quality of the food; everything we've tested was special indeed! All flavours including the sweets were incredibly rich and fresh. We will definetely be visiting the restaurant in person whenever we will crave these aromas and dishes. Thank you!

Not well maintained store, most of the things are expired. I bought Milk last week that was smelling very bad. I told the cashier girl about that and she said It might be your mistake she was very rude and there was a guy with turban he said we can’t do anything about it. Don’t buy anything from this store and also they are very expensive compares to other store.

Today we ordered food from Indian Punjabi bazar was so good and chef gagan Garcha service was amazing.
Must recommend try their Chana bhatura special on every Tuesday.

Product are good there. But The cashier in the first row was very rude and unprofessional. She treated us with suspicion and told us to “check the cart properly,” which was insulting and made us feel very uncomfortable. No customer deserves to be treated this way.she was rude and require professional training

Second incidence, I guess this is the time to put review now. Be mindful for the stickers on products because behind the sticker there may be scratched expiry date. Today, July 10,2025 6:30 PM I bought groceries, there are 2 L Thums up bottles under the vegetable section which has sticker in it but behind the sticker there is scratched expiry date, Luckily I saw some scratches outside of the sticker and peeled up the sticker and I found this. See pictures. Be careful. 3 Stars because, I still believe they keep lots of other good things as well. I am also attaching receipt so that no-one can say this is not from their place.
But scratching or hiding or tampering with EXPIRY Date is ILLEGAL. You can put it on sell by showing honestly expired items as I have seen other places.

Cashier charged me twice for same item

Very disappointed today to see the ( looks like owner or manager) owner insulting a employee. I was there to get groceries. I dont know what was the matter but the young girl was having bandage on her arm and the lady was behaving rude with her ..humiliating the young girl doesn’t looks good. I saw her crying in the parking lot. If she don’t know the labour law .

They sell expired fruits and vegetables. When I complaint about they deny clearly , that we can’t say anything about fruits and vegetables. If they know that it’s about more than a week , fruits or vegetables they placed I would be expiry. But they don’t change . I bought 4-5 different fruits except apples ,all were expired.
