Finally found a good Chinese/Guyanese spot in town. Taste was good and chicken was crispy. I will return instead of going all the way to north York

This is the first time I visited this establishment the food was okay the disappointing thing is the portion size. Not value for the money .

I enjoyed the food.

The special chicken fried rice was tasty and not too oily. The pepper sauce added a nice heat and flavour, although I found the portion size to be small, served in a small aluminum round container.

The pepper shrimp and pepper chicken wings were also good. I appreciated that both dishes came with cabbage, which was a nice touch.

The total price was $63.00.

Ordered their jerk chicken as I was passing by. BEST DECISION EVER.

Didn’t need the pepper sauce, chicken was so moist and flavourful and rice was moist with chicken pieces and didn’t taste over fried or sauced but perfectly done!

I've recently found out about island hut and have gone twice already and both times I went the food was AMAZING, fresh and delicious. The lady that cooked my meal was very kind and welcoming. Gonna be a go to spot for me to get fried chicken and fried rice.

Was in here again today for the millionth time and it still hits like the first time I tried it. Hands down the best in town! Island hut fried rice with pepper shrimp on the side. You can’t go wrong here. People complain about the price but then go to McDonald’s and spend the same for fake food lol. Do yourself a favor and go try this place! Friendliest service as well!

Omg the best fried rice with the chicken on top in town. I have had many Guyanese fried rice and I can say this is the best one ever. The flavors are amazing and the chicken is so crispy and nice. AND THE HOT SAUCE IS JUST THE ICING ON THE CAKE.

RUN don’t walk to this place.

I first tried aunty Bibi's delicious food at a birthday party and had to visit her restaurant to try other dishes. The jerk chicken, chowmein and fried rice were all amazing! She is very kind and attentive to all her customers. Highly recommend supporting this local business.

Delicious everytime

The best chicken and fried rice. It’s so addictive. We love quite far from this store but still make the commute to come here. Other places do not make it like this! Definitely recommend. They also have party trays that are great for gatherings.

Closest to real Guyanese fry rice!! Straight from guyana, The chef makes it very good woth nice bora and fresh vegetables and the chicken is really good as well. Also the chowmien is really tasty and nice. Also love the packaging reminds me of NYC style packaging 5 Stars ⭐
