Been going here forever and usually the food is decent but today I ordered from Door Dash and the food was awful.Lasagna tasted like it was 2 days old and the veal sandwich was cold and chewy and not very tasty. I mean serving day old food is not cool especially if you can’t fool people into thinking it’s fresh also. I don’t even mind left overs just make sure it’s good leftovers. I think I might be done with this place after today.

One of the best Italian eateries in the GTA. Bakery style hot plates with amazing things like veal / chicken sandwiches, pastas, and other little tasty foods. Nice little artisan selections of oils, pastas and sweets. A nice cross between a bakery and sandwich shop. What makes this place really special is that it's family run since it's inception to now, great people always a smile to greet you with excellent food and service, what more can he ask for.

Right off the hop I was greeted with a smile and a hello, good start. I went for the lunch special, I chose the chicken sandwich and I added cheese and mushrooms and a side of Alfredo. With a coke it came to $18 and change. The sandwich was large and the pasta was a perfect size for a side. Excellent value for the money. I try many hot table spots and I have to say the variety of choices was refreshing to see. Often it can be basic tomato sauce on penne, but here there were no less than 5 pastas to choose from. Finally I want to give a shout out to the young lady that served me (I wish I caught her name so she can get full credit). I was unsure of which sauce to go with for my sandwich, so she made a suggestion that I could have a mixture of the two which ended up making the sandwich! It was delicious and made with care. It was clear to me she cared about the job and especially the food. Bravo! Great work to everyone there, no wonder it's been around for 25+ years. I highly recommend. I will be back soon and I'm bringing friends along to experience this gem.
