This spot is truly a hidden gem in Brampton! Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, they’ve got you covered with a diverse and well-executed menu. Everything I’ve tried so far has been consistently fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.
One of my favourites is the John’s Pasta — rich, comforting, and full of flavour. You can tell it’s made with care. The club sandwich is another go-to; it’s not only delicious but also comes in a very generous portion, perfect if you’re really hungry or want to share.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and modern. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to — and honestly, I already have, multiple times!
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality food, great service, and a relaxed dining experience.

Amazing amazing amazing food. Have been going here for more than 2 years now ….everything is sooo good …. Skillet, breakfast , all their pasta , everything is great. The only thing I won’t recommend is souvlaki…. Didn’t like the potatoes or the rice …. But anything else is just excellent… definitely recommend

Don’t waste your time or money here. Overpriced, dirty plates, but also dishonest. Kids menu showed one price, but the item on the bill was charged higher. Ordered an extra side of protein, but they added an additional fee as “open food” in addition to the cost of the extra protein on the bill (even though their menu prices were not updated). They should have eaten that cost, not the customer for their lack of organization and not updating their menus. It shows that this establishment is just greedy. Never returning or recommending to others. For a mom/pop shop, you should do better!

First off love the name. Came here for a work lunch and was very happy. We had 10 people and the food was served fast and fresh. Eggs benny were a big hit and burgers. A cute family restaurant in the area with a great name ;)

Today we went in for brunch. We waited for 45 minutes for our table to be ready, as we sat down we had to wait for 2 chairs. We stood in the middle of the restaurant waiting for chairs and they proceeded to take our order. Unacceptable!

John’s Family Restaurant is a gem, offering a cozy atmosphere and exceptional service that makes every visit a pleasure. I recently stopped by for both breakfast and dinner, and each meal was a wonderful experience.
For breakfast, the over-easy egg was cooked just right, with a perfect yolk and just the right seasoning. At dinner, I tried the chicken souvlaki dinner and gyro dinner, both of which were outstanding. The chicken souvlaki was tender and well-seasoned, capturing the classic Mediterranean flavors beautifully. The gyro was equally delicious, with savory, authentic taste in every bite. And, of course, I couldn’t miss out on John’s famous pasta, which was truly the star of the meal—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
John’s Family Restaurant combines delicious food with friendly staff, making it one of the best places to dine. The convenient parking only adds to its charm. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What happened to this place?! The chicken souvlaki dinner is now 30$ and they have also cut back the portions. 5 pieces of poratoe, 6 TBsp of rice.. honestly? Skimping on rice?? This is not worth what your charging. It used to be a good place, but something has changed. I will drive to Pete's on Eglington if I need this style plate. Sorry to see them go.
