Kibo Sushi House - Mount Pleasant

I went in there to ask to use the washroom after being a long term customer of this establishment and was refused despite them seeing it was an emergency (which I went into another store next to them and was permitted immediately being a frequent customer there too). Okay. Interesting you wouldn't let someone you see frequently use the restroom. Rude, but sure, no problem. Let's talk about the food, I'm not sure what's been going on since I actually like this place however today finally led to me reviewing them since I often order here and have noticed a significant decrease in food quality too which has caused me to slow down my consumption of food from this resturant anyways. My avocado in the sushi rolls always seem to already be going bad despite being made to order and my tempura is always soggy and over fried (super greasy). It never used to be like this and I'm not sure if it's because it's being picked up and not eaten at the resturant or what. Service could be better and so could the food.

Really nice place to have sushi. I tried only veg options but they were all delicious. I guess nonveg options would be better. Pleasant atmosphere and kind staff.

We finally tried this small sushi spot near our home after hearing great things—and it definitely delivered! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, honestly some of the best we’ve had. While the place itself is quite small and better suited for takeout, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. We’d highly recommend it for a takeout sushi night and will definitely be ordering again!

Tempura was very good!!

I always go to kibo and it was good. However, today, shrimp cause me allergy and their beef aburi was very tough(very chewy and was not edible).

Sushi was better than most sushi places I have tried. Miso soup, Teriyaki, Sushi, Gyoza - all of the items were fresh and tasty. The takeout was nicely packed!

Disappointed with the customer service. I ordered through Uber Eats, and TWO items was missing from my order. When I called the restaurant, there was no effort to help or resolve the issue. Uber said it was not their fault and the restaurant took no action. It felt like I was completely on my own. On top of that, I could hear staff in the background making negative comments about customers. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be supporting this business again.
