I used to live 2 minute walk from this place 20 years ago and it’s still exactly the same.. incredible!! Let me tell you, in this day and age finding a good pizza joint especially in Brampton is next to impossible. But this place is totally worth it. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing their pizza is in taste and price and size. Their large pizza is equivalent to an extra large at pizza pizza in size. I ordered two large pizzas the other day and it had to weigh at least 5 lbs. Their pizzas are super filling, by 3 slices your stomach will be saying ok thats enough but your mouth will be saying i want more. No jokes. I’m just sad i live too far away to get it delivered or i would eat this every week. I now live 20 minutes away driving so it’s a once in a while deal for me. But the drive is totally worth it. They also have killer patties. I hope they stick around forever.

This is the best deep dish pizza period. They take great care and love how they make the pizza and I have been ordering for more than 20 years absolutely delicious every time and the subs are amazing also

Wanted to add an edit to this. While ive enjoyed their food since the late 80s but until just a few years ago this place went from a multiple weekly staple to maybe visitng every few months now for special occasions. Price increases i feel come multiple times a year now.
Food prices keep rising (i swear pricing fluxuates and i hate that chalk board they use feels like they could just adjust it when they feel like it although i know that probably isnt the case) and while quality has mostly stayed the same (sometimes that can change based on who is serving you) it is very expensive now.
I know food prices have changed but 2 stuffed patties and a pop for $5 ish what feels not very long ago to over $11 now seems nuts. Sub prices are nuts too and they've been real stingy with the toppings lately. I can buy firehouse subs for that price almost.
It's frustrating I wanna support Gus and the business cause its so local for me but they are pricing themselves out a bit.

(Potential rodent problem) there is a hole in the lower brick beside front entrance where you order. The sunlight shines through into the inside. Owner check it out before you have a big problem. I was Very dissapointed in the pizza. Too much cheese and crust was too thin. Just not worth it. ( The hole in the brick and Potential rodent problem made me want to walk out. Since I order pizza I paid for it.

What it used to be then is not now anymore. The pizza did not taste good at all. It wasn’t fresh and had lots of cheese, which was difficult to digest. Definitely not going to recommend to anyone.
The pizza came freezing cold and the patty’s came burnt . Called and spoke to the store and they told us not to ever order from them again . Horrible customer service.

Many are talking about the food which is good. Especially their veggie slices. No one is giving credit to the amazing young ladies working at the cash. They are quick, attentive, straightforward and have good communication with each other.

Mackay's has always had a great family run feel to the place and in all my times visiting the location, service was always great and in a timely manner. During one recent visit, someone had been waiting for awhile for their order and when one of the employee's checked his order, the staff member got to work on getting the order completed as quick as they could as the place was dealing with a rush. Kudos to staff communicating well to get orders completed as best as they could during the dinner rush and that the order were done correctly and with a high quality.
