Our waitress was on point.. she made sure we were good had everything we needed but wasn't hovering which I loved.. food was on point and you get a nice sized portion. I'm definitely going back and would recommend.

I went to Onyx in Brampton for a friend’s birthday dinner with six people and a reservation. Despite spending a lot of money, we were seated at a table meant for four. Six adults could not fit comfortably, and there was barely space for food.

This was during a freezing rain and snow alert, and the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived around 6:15 PM. Multiple larger tables were clearly available, yet the owner or manager refused to move us, saying he needed to hold tables in case it got busy later due to NFL playoffs. The games had not started, and the restaurant remained mostly empty.

When food arrived, it did not fit on the table. Only after we complained were we reluctantly moved and told we might have to move again if it got busy. This showed more concern for holding seats than accommodating guests who were already there with a reservation.

The two waitresses who served us were excellent and recommended great drinks, they get 5 stars. They worked hard to make us comfortable.

Food was okay, but the owner’s unpleasant attitude and unwillingness to accommodate made this a terrible experience. We have never experienced service like this before and will not return or recommend Onyx, especially for larger groups. The tables we were told could not be given to us were still empty when we left around 10 PM.

A really nice vibe for those who want good dancehall music and drinks. A very bougie Carribean sports bar. With billiard tables at the back. White sangrias were perfect and the customer service was top notch!

Came here to celebrate my mom and aunt’s birthday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They don’t skimp on the alcohol in the cocktails like some other restaurants. My guests enjoyed the atmosphere as we celebrated and watched the games.

Wanted to give a shout out to our server Dante who waited on us over the weekend. It was fairly busy and he maneuvered through the various tables he had with patience and attention. Our food options were not that good and left me feeling a bit…. underwhelmed. DJ was tun up.
