I order a nachos with chicken and honestly the best I have ever had. The waitresses at the bar were very attentive, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank-you.

I visted the restaurant on Sunday July 27th and I was Disappointed! My friend was visiting from the states and I chose this spot for a chill girls night out. The jerk chicken was underwhelming, I got 5 pieces of calamari and a bunch of battered jalapeño peppers i guess it's to make up the portion size 🙄🙄. The part that gets me, is the fact that I paid almost 30.00 for my pasta to only get 3pc of shrimp and when I brought it to my server's attention I was told that I would need to pay to get additional shrimp. Like who does that?? All in all I felt like I wasted my money and I will NOT return nor will I recommend.

A huge thank you to Ingrid and Dave for their amazing hospitality. We hosted a last minute, big event here for work and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and they were very accommodating. Will be back to try more of the menu items. Thank you to all of the staff at Onyxx for making our event memorable.

I really have tried to support but I’m disappointed. The long wait for service with servers dodging eye contact with you. Even when it’s time to pay.

The flat coke in my drink that made it taste like a sweet syrup.

Burnt dry sweet potato fries today.

And that’s just today so to be fair I will only comment on this experience and regret not saying anything in the past.

Potential to be such a great place if they would put the effort in to not serve something that doesn’t look good and hire servers who know how to provide a positive experience for customers.

After an hour of waiting the order, waitress came back to say that they ran out of our dish. Starters arrived at the same time as the main course. We were 5 people, our 4 dishes arrived all at different times and the 5th never arrived since they ran out of it ( dish ordered was just a salad). It took almost an hour to get our drinks. Hungry? Choose another place!!!

Previously my experience at Onyx, was great! I enjoyed everything from quality to service, however tonight’s experience was a little upsetting due to our server. Number one, as a server, I totally understand how it is when it’s busy which is why I didn’t get upset when our server forgot to bring our drinks two out of the times we ordered. What upset me tonight was that our server added a gratuity to the bill and never mentioned anything about it. On top of that, when we inquired about the issue and asked for a refund on our tip, she refused to resolve our problem until we asked to speak with a manager. The impression I got from this experience was that the server knew she was able to add gratuity to the bill from the beginning which is why the service wasn’t the best and she took the time to take advantage by not telling us in advance that it was already included. I will definitely come back and support this business because their food and atmosphere is great, however any server moving like that isn’t going to benefit this business.

Absolutely appalling, no other words needed. Music obnoxiously loud can’t even talk to the person next to you, not sure if this is a weekend thing or how it always is, as it was my first time going, but this is not a club? It’s a sports bar music should be turned down. Will never be coming back. We came for my boyfriend’s birthday. Food was unorganized everyone got their food almost 1 hour late and Luke warm. Quality of food sucks so bad that i would rather drink toilet water (not over exaggerating). Birthday Boy got his food almost 2 hours after our order. Server didn’t know what she was doing didn’t bother to ask if we need anything constantly or listened to our needs. We had to get up out of our chairs to remind server about our orders at least 4 times. Very very disappointed, for a service to be so bad! And for me to write a review like this it had to be awful! I’m not usually one to ruin a places reputation by things like this but it’s much needed for this awful place!
