It's funny reading the reviews because we also encountered the lady at the counter who gets your order wrong and then gives you attitude for her mistake. I had wondered why anytime I recommended this place to people in the past they told me it was mediocre when I thought the ackee patties were one of a kind. I still think the ackee patties are good but man they need to tell the lady at the front to chill out she needs to work on her people skills.

Usually I don't write reviews, but I was very disappointed with their chicken soup. Paid $7 for a small soup , which was not worth it. The chicken in the soup needed to cook some more. The soup tasted as if they used bulk soup mix for the soup. Onedumpling as small as my pinky finger, a large piese of Irish potato that also was a bit hard. Sadly, i had to throw it away . I don't like to waste food , especially in thesetimes. Times are hard to waste money.. please do better with the soup, I don't think I will buy anymore soup from this place. 2 star because the lady was pleasant that served the soup.

Ordered the large chicken soup, it was awful. It had two tiny pieces of chicken in it, was bland, and had no flavour even after I tried to enhance it with salt. To make matters worse, it was thickened with cornstarch, which you could taste in the texture of the soup. I couldn’t eat it, had to throw it out. Also ordered the stew chicken and rice and peas. It was awful too. Tried their beef patty too. Similar to a previous reviewer’s comment it was a jelly like texture inside - very strange. Nice people, but save your money, they can’t cook.
Best Patties in Brampton!!???? So many variety of patties. I love the shrimp patties and the jerk chicken. They also have salt fish and ackee!! If you haven’t tried it…. Definitely do!

I know prices are crazy bit really?? I paid too much for this this little bit of food. But taste wise they are very good. I got 3 oxtail and 2 bowels of rice with no gravy.

The food was ok but very bland but the service was very bad, I was cussed out for asking prices, they were not patient at all. That was my first and last time. Would not recommend it at all.

I loved everything about the beef patty except for one weird thing.The meat seemed to be really jelly and was nothing like I’ve ever seen before.It tasted good but it was just kind of weird looking at it and I really hope it’s not anything that I normally wouldn’t want to eat.
