This was our second time at Peggy's for breakfast and we enjoyed it as much as our first time. The food is delicious, the place is small but clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is an industrial area so it's not an usual place for us to go for breakfast but we went there for the good food. I ate the breakfast with toast, pea meal bacon and eggs and my husband ate the one with 3 pieces of grilled chicken. We also had a coffee each. This time we were very happy that we got a chance to speak with the owner Peggy herself and learn about her family history, her current family and her entrepreneur zeal. She has also studied and taken the license and opened Peggy's opticals just beside her restaurant. She spoke of how much hard work is put behind the fresh cooked food that is sold at the restaurant. What also struck us as we were leaving was a plaque in the wall that was received by Peggy's this June from Sickkids for being a monthly donor for 9 long years. That is a business with a heart and I will always come back to support fabulous restaurants like this!

I had their Thursday special which is their fried chicken. There chicken is the juiciest and cripiest chicken I've had in a long time. Very delicious definitely give it a try also their beef patties are good as well.
