This is the second time. I have been in this situation with pizza pizza waiting over 40mins to recieve my order. Pizza pizza has advertised after 40mins it’ll be free. First time they said they can’t let me have it free even after 40mins and email confirmation confirms but I still ended up paying. This time I told them I will not pay as this is the second time this has happened. Once again they told me no it is not free and took the pizza out my hand and left. I was shocked. I waited over 40mins for pizza when the pizza pizza store is 1.5kms away from my address.

This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with Pizza Pizza.
After eating from this location, three members of our family got seriously sick within hours. We were throwing up all night with terrible stomach pain. This was not a coincidence. Something was clearly wrong with the food.
When we tried to speak to the manager about it over the phone, he was rude and completely dismissive. Instead of showing even basic concern, he told us to “go complain” if we wanted. No apology. No accountability. Nothing.
To make it worse, when we asked to speak to him directly, he refused to come out and was hiding inside the store. That tells you everything about how they handle serious issues.
Food safety should be the bare minimum for any restaurant. Based on our experience with this Pizza Pizza location, they clearly don’t care.
Avoid this place unless you want to risk your health.
This video demonstrates that we returned contaminated food to the store because they weren’t helpful.
