Unassuming hidden gem in the last area you'd expect it to be in. I had a cheese burger with a broccoli cheddar soup, and could tell within the first bite and sip that this was home made with care. Our waitress, who I assume to also be the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you were in the area and didn't check this place out.

I have been to this place a couple of times. Their vegetarian grilled panini sandwich is just awesome. So is their quinoa wrap. The lady at the counter is a very charming hostess.

Terrible Experience – Don’t Be Fooled by the Reviews
We decided to try Resto Bar Cafe for the first time, expecting something decent based on all the good reviews—huge mistake. The coffee was a disaster: cold, flavorless, and completely undrinkable. It honestly tasted like it had been sitting there for hours.
We also ordered food, and it was just as disappointing. The salad was soggy and looked like it came out of a bag—nothing fresh about it. The chicken sandwich was dry, bland, and the chicken itself was rubbery. The poutine was the worst of all—fries were limp and undercooked, the gravy was watery, and the cheese barely melted. It was a sad excuse for a classic dish. Overall, this place is massively overrated. We left disappointed, still hungry, and annoyed we wasted our money. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the reviews—it was a very bad experience.

Really hearty food, the hot sandwiches are great. I recommend the Jerk Chicken sandwich with the house fries. Diane provided excellent service. Definitely worth checking out 👍🏼
