Wow!

My best friend and I picked up dinner from here a couple weeks ago when we were in Sauga to celebrate my birthday!

I ordered fried chicken / Barbie fried both with coleslaw, rice and peas and a festival. Rice topped with stew chicken gravy!

My best friend ordered stew chicken w white rice, coleslaw and a festival as well.

My friend has been on the hunt for years to find stew chicken that meets her expectations and apparently Rose’s did just that! She couldn’t stop complimenting it while eating lol

Mine was delicious too! The rice and peas were top notch too!

We will definitely return to Rose’s Kitchen!

Over the Christmas holidays I ordered fried snapper, snapper fillets and Christmas cake.
The fried snapper and snapper fillets were delicious, chef's kiss, properly seasoned. Generous portions. Reasonably priced.
The sorrel drink was perfect with just the right amount of giner. Smithing and thirst quenching.
And of course the black cake. Always a hit.
The staff and Miss Rose are professional, polite,friendly and always eager to please.

A lady working at front is so rude

Recently, order a Jamaican rum cake, the cake is so good, big up to rose and team. Thank you very much. You outdid yourself.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the quality of the food. It was not up to par, and I would not recommend it. The taste was off-putting, and it was a poor experience and was underwhelming and it did not meet my expectations.

Rose has been my day 1 for cakes many years now. When she branched into providing Caribbean food, that was the icing on the cake 😊. My favourite is the escoveich fish although everything is delicious. Here’s my dinner from yesterday

Food is good but thats about it.

The service is extremely slow. They had 1 girl at front taking orders and serving the food and she isn't in a rush to do anything. 1 person in front of me and it took more than 15mins to get fried chicken and oxtail order.

Seating is limited and the tables are all dirty / clean yourself.

Washroom is not clean. They don't have paper towels. Even the toilet seat is the wrong size for the bowl...

I come here often for food but recently for a roti and normally it’s great but for whatever reason my boyfriends and I rotis were disgusting. I don’t know why the curry goat was so fatty, it was honestly unbearable to every bit was basically fat. I will not be getting the goat again.

I went in and ordered snapper stew from Rose for Easter. It was magnificent!! Roses services matches her food. Thumbs up!!

Near to no meat in the roti, all potato. Very disappointed it was mush. Ordered the goat and curry chicken roti both had the same issue.
