Soups taste good. Around 11:30 today, I went in and bought 2 soup. Only complaint is who wants a soul filled with potatoes or is ordering potatoe soup! Unless a person says NO dumplings, there should be dumpljngs in the soup.

Pink chicken.
Took the temperature it was barely 120°. Was unable to eat for fear of being hospitalized for Salmonella
Low establishment which attracts a few nasty people who give you nasty looks while in line.
No seating arrangements anymore.
The recipes are good, but the way the establishment is executed is unacceptable.
They are lucky to not be audited given the amount of complaints I see in the reviews

My wife and I were dying to try Souperlicious. So on Saturday, we decided to try their fish soup. We DoorDashed it. Well we were both blown away. Its a soup that warms you up to the core. We loved it so much that we ordered their cow foot soup the very next day. Eating the cow foot brought me back when my mom use to make this for me. The broth hit the spot. I am not sure about these negative reviews here. We can't say anything bad about Souperlicious. Its a must try.

I will never spend my money here again. Im extremely disappointed. Imagine for 15 dollars this is what they gave you for a breakfast special. One small friend dumpling and barely any meat
Restaurantji Recommends
I second Shanda ,I was shocked I order 3 breakfast specials, when she told me it was $15 she had already served them so I didn’t want to leave them. To my surprise when I got home to see the small portion for $15, I was really surprised to see the small amount of ackee it’s like a spoonful of ackee and 2 dumplings, my family wanted me to bring it back, but I only say never again. This was horrible, a breakfast special with that small amount of ackee is only worth $8.. to the store owner I am a regular customer since you opened Souplicous and a long time customer of Jamaica. This is ridiculous you need to do better . And also boiled provision would make sense to have on the menu. AS LONG AS THE LUNCH SPECIAl IS THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY AND THAT SMALL PORTION I WONT BE A SUPPORTER OF THE BREAKFAST SPECIAL.

I'm not sure how you specialize in something and run out of it by 3pm in the afternoon. By 3pm in the afternoon they ran out of soup. Completely unacceptable. The wait time is also horrible. I would not recommend it.

My wife bought the Red Peas Soup for me,there was no Meat, full of dumplings and Potatoes and no taste that I'm accustomed to having,if they don't improve the quantity it won't last,Shame shame!service and quality needs to step up.
This has got to be the worst Superlious location I have ever been to. I found a hair in my soup, and when I called to report it, the manager told me it was impossible for that to happen with no apology, no concern, and no accountability.
Even though I don’t live close to the location, I drove down there to address the issue in person, only to be met with rudeness and complete dismissal. The manager was ignorant, disrespectful, and even smiled in my face while I tried to explain the situation. The woman working there was equally rude and unprofessional.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable. Your employees are representing your brand terribly, and if this is how they treat paying customers, it’s only a matter of time before this location’s reputation goes downhill. I will never return and will make sure to warn others not to spend their money there.

Souperlicious on Bovaird is more than just a
restaurant, it's a beautiful, local experience run by genuinely caring mother and son duo. You can feel the pride and passion they put into their work with every spoonful-it truly feels like coming home to a loved one's kitchen.
I came specifically for the Red Pea Soup on a doctor's recommendation for fiber, and it exceeded every expectation. The soup had a perfect, savory blend of lentils and oxtail, providing deep, comforting flavor while being incredibly fresh. It's an authentic dish that warms the soul.
This spot is a beautiful place to visit, and the dedication of the owners to creating fresh, homemade, and delicious meals shines through. If you want high-quality, authentic, homestyle soups, this is the only place to go. Highly, highly recommended!
