Yesterday, I went to this Starbucks for a drink, and the experience was extremely disappointing. My order took 40 minutes for just one drink. While I waited, I noticed that people who ordered after me were getting their drinks first. When I asked an employee about the delay, instead of helping, she responded rudely and told me I “just have to wait” because she couldn’t prioritize. I explained that if the queue was actually being followed, I should have already received my drink. Rather than checking, she dismissed me in a rude tone, saying she didn’t know how long it would take.
To make matters worse, I saw my drink sitting on the counter for about 15 minutes, completely ignored. No one cared to hand it over or even double-check, and the attitude from staff made it worse. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at Starbucks, and unfortunately, it’s not the first time I’ve had to deal with long wait times here. The combination of poor service, unnecessary delays, and rude behavior is unacceptable. I won’t be returning to this location.

I bought a hot latte yesterday. The cup collapsed because of the heat and the contents spilled. There is a high risk of scalding. Luckily, there was no child near me. I would recommend Starbucks management to look into the issue. Your paper cups don't hold up hot beverages.

The cashier, an Asian gentleman, demonstrated remarkable memory and efficiency in accurately recalling our previous order. This attention to detail significantly enhanced our visit. Furthermore, your employee, Logan, went above and beyond in interacting with my son. He recognized my son's apprehension about his first day back in class, noting his MMA gear. Logan's kindness and attentiveness created a welcoming and comfortable environment, significantly easing my son's nervousness.
Finally, the quality of the beverage prepared for me was outstanding. The care and precision evident in its preparation were truly noteworthy.
The entire team at this location provided an exceptional customer experience. I would like to commend both the cashier and Logan for their professionalism, attentiveness, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service. They are true assets to your company.

Very unprofessional. Went to this store several times because my work is near by. Generally the store is dirty, slow, and rude. They throw foods to the pickup zone. They ask to scan when paying but leave right after so I have to pick up the scanner to pay lol. They chat with not job related stuff while customers are waiting. In the photo, they store stuff to make drinks in cups and make drinks with it to save times opening the fridge to get it lmao. How unprofessional and poorly managed store it is.

Drive thru order taker name YASH, terrible service, rude, and too cocky for his own good. I usually don’t leave negative comment unless it’s really bad. No wonder I always go to queen street, waaaaaay better people and great service.

The Gateway Starbucks in Brampton is honestly the worst Starbucks I’ve ever visited worldwide — and I’ve been to many. I’ve been coming here since 2023, and almost every visit has been a letdown.
Orders are consistently wrong. Drinks are never made properly — the staff really need to learn the difference between a frappuccino and an iced drink. Even when I keep it simple with just brewed coffee and a small breakfast, it’s still messed up. Twice my croissant smelled awful, and the coffee often tastes like it’s been sitting around for too long, even though I always ask for fresh Pike (or whatever is brewing).
Customer service here is far below the Starbucks standard I’ve experienced elsewhere. Honestly, this location feels more like a Tim Hortons than a Starbucks — and it’s dragging down the brand’s reputation.
I really hope Starbucks takes action, because right now the Gateway location does not live up to the name at all.
If you can’t meet the standard Starbucks has thrived on, please change the name to “ Tim Hortons” so there are no expectations and you get worth of your money.

I come here almost every day since it’s close to my work—otherwise, I probably wouldn’t. The food and drinks are good, but the wait time is consistently terrible.
There are usually 5–6 employees working, yet it still takes forever. For example, today there were only two cars in the drive-through, and it still took over 10 minutes just to take my order—and I was inside the store. Getting the actual order takes even longer.
Even when the manager is present, I’m not sure what they’re doing to help. I’ve been to many other Starbucks locations with much better service. This store really needs to be organized more efficiently—it’s an ongoing issue.

Me and my boyfriend had went for a nice coffee date and we decided to just go through the drive thru. We go and order and my boyfriend made a little mistake by saying iced Capp instead off ice coffee. It was a simple funny mistake but I guess it was too much for the employees. I don’t remember the barista names but it was a male at first and he got upset at the mistake and a girl took over with the worst attitude ever. We go up to the window and it’s the girl. She then gets upset when she didn’t scan my phone correctly for points and instead of asking me to scan it again she slams the window shut and walks off. The male barista comes up looking so off and annoying and tells me my price in the coldest way ever. Never again will I be coming here and I hope those two get fired soon.

I am a regular customer and this place has quickly gone downhill. The service is meh' and the food and drinks are sub-par at best.
This morning the credit/debit machine was down which is a normal occurance.
I ordered my venti drink and I got a cup of ice with 5 sips of coffee.
I'm done - this place is way too overrated and overpriced in this economy. Best of luck!
