As someone from Himachal, I can truly say Straight Outta Shimla (S.O.S) serves the most authentic Himachali flavors I’ve found outside home. The food instantly reminded me of celebrations back in the hills – warm, comforting, and packed with tradition.

The Himachali Dham was absolutely spot on – soulful and true to its roots. The Siddus with tomato chutney were nothing short of heavenly, soft and flavorful with that perfect tangy kick from the chutney. I was also delighted to try Patrode (Himachali take on Patra) – such a rare delicacy and executed beautifully.

This place is a gem – the only one I’ve discovered that stays true to Himachali cuisine. Even though it’s a bit of a drive, the experience is worth every kilometer, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

A heartfelt thanks to the team for preserving and showcasing Himachali food culture. For anyone craving a true “taste of home away from home,” this is the place!

I think this is the only place in Brampton where tou can get Siddu and Kukrez. Also, their Kachori and Patrode are awesome. Their momos are also very good.

Straight Outta Shimla (S.O.S) is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Himachali flavors. I tried their Siddu and steamed Momos, and both were simply outstanding. The Siddu was soft, rich, and bursting with flavors that instantly reminded me of home. The Momos were perfectly steamed, and the spicy red chutney on the side took them to the next level – so daifu and delicious! Must must try!!!

We ordered food from Straight Outta Shimla and it was an amazing experience! This was my first time trying Himachali food and I would definitely come back again. We had Kurkez, Veg Schezwan Siddu, and Steam Momos; all were delicious. The tomato chutney was especially fresh and flavorful, adding the perfect touch to the meal. Highly recommended!

We came across their food stall during Diwali festival of lights in Toronto. We tried momos, food was yummy especially chutney ?and portion size was good too. Highly recommended to everyone and specially to those who want to try Himachali dishes like Sidu & dham . Next time coming for Dham thali ?
