Student Biryani

Am initially a big fan of Dubai Student Biryani - first was Karama Branch then Barsha branch and now here i am in Toronto coming to taste this unique biryani delicacy ! I am originally from north Africa and Biryani was a great discovery for me ! i wish our people would discover this great taste and eat it at this amazingamazing restaurant ☺️

We ordered the food and it was not good, the meat was hard and they refreshed the meat.

Veggie biryani was more of veggies pulao so, not worth it. Barbecue chicken roll was also not tasty. Better skip this restaurant if you ask me.

Had always heard of this place from friends while in uni. Finally drove by and decided to try their chicken biryani.We enjoyed the taste and overall a great experience. Sevrer was very helpful and kind.Service and biryani was amazing.Will try again.

We ordered biryani today and there is hair in the biryani. Not one strand or two but multiple. I don't even know how are they functioning

Chicken briyani was amazing. It was about $15 and the portions were generous. I was able to make 3 meals out of it.I have decided to skip on meal prepping on sundays and buy the chicken briyani instead for the start of my week :)Be mindful the spice levels are high!

Very disappointed today. I ordered chicken bbq biryani and malai tikka. Instead of malai tikka I received chicken tikka. The amount price difference was $5 between these two. I’m really disappointed with the service as i was excited to try the malai tikka.

I bought chicken biryani. Taste was worst then ever i taste Moreover i only got 2 piece chicken and Chicken smells bad

I used to be fiercely loyal to this restaurant and location but in recent times the price increase for basic biryani has been shameless. It pains me to move on after years of good experiences at this location but I would be foolish to keep coming back when there are so many other more affordable options.

Pathetic experience here! There were small cockroaches roaming around! We ordered Biryani, crispy chicken roll and Malai boti. We know what Malai boti is and what they are serving is not Malai boti, they served normal chicken boti in the name of Malai boti and on our complaint they replied we have started serving this some time back. Pathetic! Not recommended at all!

I have tried hundreds of different biryanis in my life but I can confidently say this was the worst biryani I have ever tasted.The texture of biryani was good but taste was like some old and un pleasant curry, I hope student biryani would start taking their biryani more seriously as it is supposed to be their speciality.

Place of value for money for Biryani lovers. Taste not as good as original Karachi Pakistani biryani but in a city where people are having lots of deviation from the original tastes from Pakistan, this is somewhat acceptable taste.
