Food was fantastic. Worth the wait. The front can be spruced up a bit with nicer furniture. No dine in available.
Sunlight Chinese Food is a hidden gem! From the savory Shrimp with Vegetables to the melt-in-your-mouth beef lo mein, every dish is crafted with care and authenticity. The Szechuan chicken is a must-try—spicy, savory, and utterly addictive. The portions are good, the prices are fair hasn't changed for 2 years. Plus, their takeout packaging keeps everything hot and fresh. This place has ruined other Chinese takeout spots for me—nothing compares! Do yourself a favor and order ASAP. 10/10!
Absolutely phenomenal! Sunlight Chinese Food has become my new go-to spot for authentic, flavorful dishes. The General Tso’s Chicken is a perfect balance of crispy and tangy, and the Cantonese Chow mein are bursting with freshness. Every bite feels like a culinary adventure! The staff is warm and attentive, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting. Don’t skip the fried rice—it’s the best I’ve had in town. If you’re craving quality Chinese food with generous portions and bold flavors, look no further. I’ll be back weekly!
I am a huge fan of egg rolls so I ordered a bunch along with a Cantonese chow mein, general tao chicken and chicken balls. My first bite into the egg roll my teeth could not bite through the filling and proceeded to pull the whole filling out of the roll. The filling had the consistency of ropes or twine. I couldn't tell if it was dried bean sprouts or some kind of par cooked noodle but needless to say you can't even bite through it so the whole lot were thrown out. As for the chow mein, everything tasted the same flavor, the flavor of a dirty wok. It was a 2/10 at best only because the noodles had a decent consistency and it was not smothered with sauce. The tao chicken was not chicken. It was a bowl full of batter with a couple of hard unchewable clumps. The sauce had zero spice and was watered down flavor. The chicken balls were ummm... Okay. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking, it suppose to be sweet and sour, well this was red, and sweet. So red as a matter of fact that a few drops of it landed on the counter top and stained my counter. So heavy on the red food die and heavy on the sugar. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The people that have this a 4 star rating must be vaccinated and lost all their taste buds because this was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had the horror of eating.
I bought the salt and pepper shrimp without the shell for 21 bucks and it doesn’t come with a side💀💀💀. It does taste good tho but damn
Pretty average westernized Chinese food place. $14 for a combo is fine, there was a good amount of chicken. The fried rice could use a little bit of improvement. There is a surcharge for credit card payments if your total is under $4
Parking is surprisingly difficult to come by in this plaza, it is very busy,
Very rude and disrespectful. When I asked about the cost and total he told me I was crying over the price then wouldn't give me my recite when I asked for a refund
Best house fried rice in the GTA.
Quaint little place in a small plaza located in Brampton. Small business that's been around for years (been happy customers for around 16 years).
Good food deserves good shoutouts.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 10/10 stars

This has been my new favorite Chinese place for over a year now, based on a recommendation and I've never looked back. Great portions, great price and never had a problem with the food. The only thing I would change is put more pictures on the website of the different dishes.
lo mein is good, the chicken is so soggy tastes raw too :/ shame i was looking to make this place my go-to, go else where
Lemon chicken I got must have been cooked a year ago. Hard and tasteless.

The inside smelled like a mix of sewage and food but the chicken balls were the best I’ve had in a long time
