Went to the store and ended up spending a day in the washroom. Service was fast and the staff was amazing but the mold and food was really bad.Do not eat from this place.I tried calling them but the number did not work.0/10

Ordered jerk chicken with white rice and oxtail gravy and rice and peas with jerk chicken and oxtail gravy. Whit rice was close to pap, rice and peas was burnt. Chicken had no taste not even salt or jerk just dark chicken and the oxtail gravy was sugar based with browning, only tasting sugar. It was so disgusting I threw it away . No cutlery, no napkins, no coleslaw just the two containers of food. Sunrise in Brampton no good. Sunrise need to have someone doing quality tasting at their restaurants during the day. What a waste of my money.

Did delivery from here on 19JAN2024. Had modest expectations. In the end I was disappointed.The rice and peas was salty and lacking something, not sure what. The plantain I ordered simply did not arrive (I looked everywhere). I was also supposed to get a large kingfish but the fish itself was pretty small - perhaps its a seasonal thing. Another item I ordered was a roti - just in case I didn't like the fish. In the end that was equally disappointing since the roti wrap was only half filled and a bit on the salty side as well. I don't know what's up with that.I hope they are able to improve in the future because there are lots of delicious foods in/from the Caribbean and right now the items I had simply do not do the foods they represent any justice at all.

So excited to try this place for the first time.I am a Jamacian Oxtail lover who like to try out diffrent places. Disappointed with this one. Taste was ok, meat was still tough. Maybe it was just one of those days.

In all my life eating Jamaican food (I'm 26) I ain't never had something this terrible. The smell of the restaurant alone should of been my indication to leave but despite my better judgement I stayed bc I had never tried sunrise before.The jerk chicken and rice I had, had no flavor and tasted inedible. I took one bite and was hit with a smell I couldn't bare. The food literally smelled like garbage. I threw the entire meal out and thought "what a waste of money" I am not one to leave reviews but I couldn't leave this experience without sharing. Hopefully it prevents someone else from going through the same thing.

Ordered the red pea soup, and when I took it out of the brown bag it wasn’t even warm. They served me under-cooked food, which is a health hazard. If something isn’t done cooking just say that. Don’t take my money pretending this food is done. I had to throw it out and just wasted basically $10. Now I’m scared for my health.
