I decided to visit this place after seeing it on TikTok, and while my experience was okay, there were aspects that could be improved. Both the curry goat and the fried snapper lacked the depth of flavor and the robust spice profile I was hoping for. The dishes were well-presented, but they didn't quite hit the mark in terms of taste. There's clear potential here, and the ambiance and service were commendable. However, for my palate, it didn't fully deliver. I believe with some tweaks to the seasoning and perhaps a bolder use of spices, this place could really shine.

Sweet Spice didn’t disappoint. I ordered breakfast and received complimentary porridge. Like listen…..amazing. Food is great reminds me of Saturday morning breakfast in Jamaica.

Great Jamaican food, unlike other Caribbean restaurants they actually have plenty of food available!! The chef is awsome always makes great food. I bought breakfast for my family of five which cost about $40 The restaurant only has takeout food, no sit down.

I can’t believe this place has been here this long and I never tried it. I got jerk , fry and oxtail 3 smalls and all 3 where fire everyone tired a bit of everything and we all wanted to go back right away! This place is probably the best in Brampton I definitely will be going back to make sure . My friend tired it and went twice in 1 day let that tell you. If you think you have had the best Jamaican food In Brampton try them and see. Im just upset I just found out about this and I’ve been in Brampton for years ! Also no where to sit just take your food and enjoy it in the car

I noticed on one of my visits there, one of the female servers, once a fresh pot of Oxtail came out, she immediately got herself a large container, filled it with rice and peas, and stacked HUGEE amounts of oxtail into the container. Mind you, there was nobody else ordering that she could have been making it for. That container was for HERSELF TO EAT. My friend and I were shocked at the huge amounts of oxtail she added into her own mean container, while she gave my friend only small pieces of oxtail, almost grudgingly. If you happen to go there for authentic Jamaican food, be prepared to receive the smallest amount of meat because they save the meat for themselves first.

Basically, I was charged $14 for a medium meal that consisted of rice with a leg and a thigh(cut in two), I would hope that this was an error. Probably, I'll try again sometime down the road, soup or mackerel perhaps and hopefully with more satisfying portions.
