This situation has gone from bad to worse. After finding a plastic piece in my food, the restaurant admitted fault and promised a refund — but days later, nothing has been processed. I even had to call again just to ask for an update, and it honestly felt like I was begging for my own money back.

Food safety issues are serious, but how a business handles them matters just as much. The complete lack of follow-through and accountability here is unacceptable. I used to be a loyal customer, but I will never return or recommend this place again.

Extremely disappointing experience. Finding plastic in food is bad enough, but being promised a refund and then getting ignored for days afterward is unacceptable. I followed up again and still got no resolution — it shouldn’t take this much effort to get money back for a serious food safety issue.

Update: The restaurant initially acknowledged fault and promised a refund after I found a plastic piece in my food. However, it has now been over two days with no refund processed. I even called again for an update and was left feeling like I was begging for my own money back.

This experience has been extremely disappointing — not just the food safety issue, but the lack of accountability afterward. I used to be a regular customer when I lived nearby, but this entire situation has completely changed my perception of this place.

I ordered food for pickup through Uber Eats and found a plastic piece inside the food — my husband actually had it in his mouth while eating, which was extremely disturbing and dangerous.

When we called the restaurant, instead of taking responsibility, they were dismissive and unprofessional. We overheard staff making inappropriate comments in Punjabi, and when we sent photos of the plastic, they implied that we placed it there ourselves. That accusation was deeply offensive.

They refused to refund us unless we physically returned to the restaurant, which completely misses the point — this is about food safety, not money.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had and a serious health concern. I will be reporting this to public health.

The taste was amazing and delicious.
It reminded me of Paharganj-style Chole Bhature.

We Visited Tadka King Restaurant today and had an amazing experience.
I tried their Tandoori Momos, Kadai Chicken, and Naan—the food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented.
The service was quick and courteous, which made the visit even better.
A must-visit place for food lovers. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I ordered food from Takda King via Uber pickup (noodles, fish, tandoori chicken, and veg chaap).
When we opened the food at home in front of guests, we found about a 1-inch piece of plastic inside the noodles.

This is a very serious food safety issue.
When we contacted the restaurant, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, they argued with us and denied the issue, claiming they don’t use plastic in their kitchen. This response was highly unprofessional.

Finding plastic in food is a health hazard, and the way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing.
Because of this experience, I do not recommend this restaurant.
