The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Bramalea

Great food and service once we were seated. However, bar service was primarily down on a Friday night. They could only offer glasses of wine or beer in cans. I also made a reservation for our party of 10 for 7:00pm several months in advance to celebrate our father's birthday. However, we were not seated until 7:25pm after we asked the host again whether our table was ready yet. Overall, although the food and service were good once we were seated, the operations of the restaurant should be improved especially for the price point of the meal.

I really hate writing negative reviews but after multiple bad experiences at this keg location, I feel a review is warranted. This is the closest keg to us but we used to go to the airport road location since the bramalea location has disappointed us multiple times. We decided to try it again after the airport road location was closed. I had a reservation for 730. A man looking like the manager greeted us. I told him we have a reservation and he said he would check on the table. 20 mins later and we hadn't seen him again so I asked one of the hostesses and she showed us to our table. We didn't make a big deal of it, stuff happens. We then waited another 15 mins for the server to come. He let us know that he was swamped with tables and quickly took our drink and appetizer orders. We got those in a decent amount of time and ordered our mains as it looked like the kitchen was backlogged. We then waited for our mains for a good chunk of time before the server came back and told us that the kitchen was behind and it would take some time to get our mains. He did ask if we wanted anything else in the meantime to which we said we would wait. We got our meals about 45 mins after we ordered them, only for the food to be cold. Our server did apologize for the delay and brought us a round of drinks for free. There were a lot of grad dinners happening that day and it looks like they were understaffed (it wasn't the server's fault). I don't think we will patronize this location again, I would rather drive to a location that is further away and that has the level of service that other kegs do. This was not an isolated experience and I would rather celebrate special occasions elsewhere.

Given that it was Father's Day our server did very well , I think the issue is where we were sitting so things took a bit long.

The meal and service was wonderful. We were celebrating our 7th anniversary unfortunately it also fell on Father's Day. There were more crying kids than is normally there.

Staff were friendly and welcoming upon entering and all around during our visit. Our first time sitting out on the patio. Jystice’s was the friendliest! My family and I appreciated your kind service! Drinks and food were good as well 😊

Maddie was amazing! Truly catered to our needs, checked in on us every so often, and was attentive. She even went out of her way to make my husband and I feel special celebrating an accomplishment.

Maddy was a fantastic server and person. I highly recommend this location due the excellent service!!!

Good and atmosphere were great. They put the sound on for the game. Maddy was our server, she’s was awesome!

The steak was not up to the standard that typical keg restaurants are in Toronto and Vaughan. Also, when we ordered the blackened chicken, it was white. It was black and it was a nicely season and the presentation was awful. I was very surprised this food was what they were serving us. Are their new staff in the kitchen? I was so disappointed. I spent over 100 bucks and there were five of us at the restaurant in my group.

We enjoyed our meal as usual. I did find it disappointing that they no longer give a Billy Minor dessert when celebrating an occasion. This seems like a poor decision. Also, in Toronto they still honour this tradition. Why not in Brampton?

My friends and I had a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner at The Keg Bramalea. Even though it was very busy, the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure to check in regularly despite the crowd.

When my friend’s steak was slightly off, the chef manager came out personally to apologize and offered to remake it right away. On top of that, they generously offered us complimentary desserts for all four of us. The gesture was thoughtful and really appreciated.

The whole team stayed calm, professional, and courteous throughout the evening. It made our celebration feel special. We’ll definitely be back, thank you for turning a busy night into a great experience!

Excellent amount of food ordered prime rib taste was perfect and cooked just the way I like it well done. Could not finish all of it portions were huge
