I recently went for a dinner and it was horrible. Steaks all cooked wrong, slow terrible service and it was a birthday dinner. It’s sad to know we pay so much for quality and customer service but unfortunately not even the drinks came until about 1hr into sitting, apps 2hrs, dinner never came and when it did it was not up to par. I have been to Keg Heartland many times it’s a completely different experience there try it!

We had a filet mignon and the prime rib. Both cooked to perfection. The Parmesan onion rings were OK but the crust was a little “thick”. The server, Barbara was a delight, very knowledgeable about the menu and we were surprised by a Billy Miners Pie, on the house, for our anniversary.

Had to wait over an hour for our food to come , and it was not that busy either … also did not get a free cake for friends birthday even though it had been mentioned to the waiter in the beginning. When we asked , we got the cake after 15 minutes and were charged for it. Very disappointing experience.

The food was done exactly to our specifications and the portions were quite fulfilling. I would highly recommend this Keg location at Hwy 10 and Bovaird for a great night out or in our case a birthday dinner.

We are regular Keg-goers and always love how it is consistently good. This time out, we also had an amazing server who was attentive, authentically friendly, funny and excellent! We had a wonderful meal with other family members and thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

The calamari is delicious. The peppercorn steak was flavourful but tough and not as hot as it should be. I had to ask for the sauce that goes with it, the server didn't know about it. The side vegetables were the best part of the meal.

The Keg Brampton, looks tired. Could use a re-fresh, stat. Carpet looks grungy and dirty, bench seats in raised platform area have seen better days, some looking deformed and others are torn. Its time for a complete overhaul Keg. When you are paying Keg prices, one would expect top notch ambience to match. Service is always excellent, food is as well.

The food is always well prepared and delicious. Service was fantastic (Jay was awesome). If I were to mention only one negative remark it would be the cost. An appetizer each for the two of us, a main course each (Keg Classic combo of prime rib and the Sirloin Oscar) plus three drinks total for $250 including tax and tip. I realize The Keg is at the higher end of chain restaurants, but that is a little too pricey. It won't stop me from going again, but it will be a once a year treat.
