I ordered from uber their 2 Jerk Chicken and 2 Stew chicken with steam veg and I receive a small cut of chicken and no steam vegetables at all! now uber cant do anything!!

got a classic rice and goat meal.
Rice tasted like it was Minute Maid rice straight out of a microwave and was a little hard.

The goat was so salty 🤮 tasted like it was bought not made with any love.

The service of the people rude sounds like he hates his job

This spot has been a staple of the community for 17 years, locally owned and operated by the nicest lady, ask her for a recommendation and she’ll bless you! For $5 this is just about the best meal I’ve ever had, the oxtail gravy was the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted paired with fresh rice & peas and jerk chicken! They use to be really good, however in the last couple years the portions are smaller and they skimp on the oxtail gravy. The Rice is dry and not good.

Got a small oxtail. Rice was undercooked. Not enough oxtail sauce on the rice. 4 pieces of oxtail and it was so tough and undercooked that I didn’t get any meat off the bones. Seems like all bones.
Worst oxtail I’ve ever had. Not worth 14$

Just spent over 15$ for a large and barely got any Ackee or salt fish I will not be returning I could have went somewhere else to get a proper meal for that price

This is NOT authentic Jamaican food to say the least. I have to say, without a doubt, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant that claims to serve Jamaican food.First, the large oxtail portion was a very small portion with only 5 pieces. The oxtail itself was poor quality. It was not tender & flaky at all.. Instead, it was gummy & soggy. The flavour was terrible as well, because of the “gravy” (not oxtail gravy) that drowned the meat. The rice was dry & bland.. the rice was not authentic rice & peas AT ALL.Second, the jerk chicken was soft, not moist, not tender.. soft, & so soft it tasted raw. The "jerk flavour" was not authentic jerk flavour either. The chicken skin was burnt to a CRISP. The coleslaw was a disgrace as well. It was sour/watery to the point of it burning my tongue.Anyone who is saying that they’re confused on how others are leaving bad reviews, & think that this food is amazing has clearly never tried authentic Jamaican food.If you are Jamaican & enjoy the food from this restaurant.. you’ve been fed with lies (litterally) by eating non authentic Jamaican food your entire life.I will never order this from this restaurant again. You couldn’t pay me to eat here.

Ordered off skip the dishes. Never ate here before but like to give all businesses a try. Ordered bbq chicken and rice and peas and a stew chicken with rice and peas. The stew chicken was ok. Not the greatest. Have had better with more chicken and lower price. The bbq chicken was terrible. The taste was good but the chicken was tough! As if it had been fried a long time ago or fried again. 3 small pieces of bbq chicken in a small order and one piece had no bbq sauce at all! The coleslaw was a few shreds of cabbage which was disappointing if you look forward to the coleslaw. I had asked for oxtail gravy on the rice which they gave a fair amount which was nice however it had no taste it lacked salt for sure! We ordered 2 drinks one was a sorrel ginger and instead we got mango juice. Over all we would not order here again :(

Place is way too expensive

Owner is rude, doesn’t know how to speak to customers. Doesn’t have a professional menu or setup. Very ghetto. Also overcharges you for a little tic tac size box of food.
