I guess I was expecting too much? The food seasoning in general was very plain. Ordered fish and chips, a burguer that had bacon and chesse and a classic burger. Burgers were so heavy on the stomach that we couldn't finish it. My burguer' bread was burnt and the taste of the burnt eas very strong. Also, the food was very dry for some reason. Not even adding condiments to make it better worked. I'm very disappointed. Very overpriced for the food quality they offer. Do not recommend.

I feel sick to my stomach after ordering food from here and learning that the serve halal meat here. I am Sikh and we cannot eat halal meat. This restaurant has a lot of explaining to do. Maybe they should consider putting a big halal sticker on their front door to notify people not to come here.

We hosted our staff Christmas party of 30 ppl here, and while the food & overall service was great, we treated poorly by the manager on duty, V. Unfortunately, his conduct and approach to dealing with customers was not professional at all. At first, reserved semi-private space wasn’t honoured, and we were told other customers might be seated within our group, which was never communicated beforehand.

While our staff were mingling before food service, he also made an inappropriate comment asking, “Is there still going to be musical chairs happening?” When I asked for clarification, he explained that they cannot serve food if people are not in their designated seats and are moving around. A simple and respectful request would have been more than enough. There were a few similar instances throughout the evening where we felt taken aback by his tone and approach.

We’ve always had great experiences with Lina at this location—she’s fantastic—but unfortunately this event left a bitter impression and we will be reconsidering future bookings.

2/5 — Wonderful Service, but Disappointed With the Food Quality

I recently visited Turtle Jack’s and wanted to share my experience. Our server was genuinely wonderful — very friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. The service truly stood out in a positive way.

However, we were disappointed with the food. I found a hair in my meal, and later on my partner discovered one in his as well. This really affected our overall experience, as we expected higher standards of cleanliness and quality.

I appreciate the excellent service we received, but I hope the kitchen team can improve their food handling practices. With a few changes, this restaurant could offer a much better dining experience.

I was served today by Sabena and she had excellent tableside manner. Had so much fun chatting with her and the power bowl was so good. Always enjoy the service here at this turtle jacks since there are not a lot of restaurants in Brampton we can go to as my friend is celiac and can’t have gluten.

Had a blast at Turtle Jacks this weekend! Hit the restaurant before my hockey game and everything was great. I had the pleasure of being served by Mariam and she was awesome. Very kind atmosphere.

Rebecca was so helpful. We weren’t sure what to order but she gave us honest and thoughtful suggestions. She kept us updated in our order as it was being prepared and provided exceptional service. Food was great. Will be back again soon.
