Went to Wimpy's Diner today for breakfast with my husband. Our server was busy with another table so it took a long time to even be served or was even asked if we wanted coffee. My husband being very patient, and doesn’t complain at all? Unless extremely necessary, say the service here is bad. Absolutely amazing birthday dinner at Wimpy’s!
I came here to celebrate my birthday and ordered the Chicken Waffle Benedict — fresh baked waffle, southern fried chicken, three perfectly poached eggs, and Wimpy’s 100% pure maple syrup sauce!
To top it all off, I got a slice of cheesecake with chocolate drizzle and a birthday candle — the cutest surprise!

We have eaten here a few times, the service was always good and the atmosphere, well, it's a 50's diner so... you know. The food is, on average OK, with the odd exception being sent back to the kitchen. The prices everywhere are atrocious, gouging has become a way of life it seems and here is no different. My biggest gripe, they charged me $3.50 for a lousy cup of coffee. Don't believe we will be returning.
