One of the top 5 places to eat in Brantford. Super clean and nostalgic. Staff are always incredibly kind speedy. Food is like if your Grandma went to culinary school. Old school charm with amazing flavors. The Ruben sandwich is second to none. Oh and the gravy....absolutely amazing!

I really don't like giving any establishment 1 star, but unfortunately I have to give them one star, based solely on the food we received today. I'd like to give the waitress 5 stars for how she handled the situation, unfortunately I do not remember her name. But my mom ordered the 2 piece fish and chips and it came out not only cold, but rubbery as if it had been sitting under heat lamps for an extended period of time. My mother couldn't eat it and it was promptly exchanged for a breakfast meal. As for my burger, it was cold and charred black on one side. I tried to eat it, as a scene had already been created regarding my mother's meal and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But ultimately I couldn't finish it. We were traveling through Brantford as we regularly do and stopped in based off of positive experiences at the Kitchener restaurant but I and my mother will never again try Angel's diner in Brantford.

A classic restaurant feel with home style meals. I had the club sandwich and my wife had the all day breakfast. It was great! Good value too.

I gave two stars, two for the atmosphere. This has been a place I grew up going to but its went downhill the food quality isn't like what it was. My husband went to eat here last weekend with his father and they both got breakfast. They ordered two plates of the same thing with the exception of my husband having sausage on his plate. 25 minutes within his meal his stomach started to turn and they finished their outing shortly after. He came home, and a few hours after started vuolenting throwing up and had watery diarhhea for two days. Hate to post this but this is unsafe and potentially fatal to adults and children. They don't want a refund, or a new plate of food made, they won't be going back and do not want to eat any free food from them.*Wanted to note, they have had the lower side on their safety inspection reports* I believe this is a big part of the reason he got sick because of staff negligence and food hygiene*
