I usually don't eat the insides of the bread as I find it too doughy, but this was not the case I ate everything, I cut one slice and had to go back for another - my husband did the same....if you like sourdough you must try the AP bakery spelt sourdough....thank you AP Bakery.”

“Genuine Food Review

This is my second time ordering from this restaurant, and I have to say, the food has been consistently impressive.

The first time, I ordered Ofada rice. The stew wasn’t exactly the traditional Ofada stew I’m used to, but whatever it was, I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite.

The second time, I ordered Jollof rice because I was craving someone else’s Jollof rice for a change not my own! 😂 And honestly, this Jollof took me straight back to my trip to Ghana some years ago. It was incredibly tasty, rich, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. I genuinely didn’t want it to finish!

A big shout-out to the chef, Edward. You’re doing an amazing job! 👏🏾 It’s not an easy thing to consistently prepare meals that people genuinely enjoy, and your effort definitely shows.

And just to be clear, this isn’t an advert. I don’t know the owner personally, I’m simply sharing my experience because good food deserves to be appreciated.

“I’d 100% recommend Hudson Public! I’ve been here well over 100 times and it’s always a great time. Never had a bad experience and food always comes out great. My friends and I generally sit on the patio as it’s dog friendly so I always took my golden retriever Liam up until he had to cross the rainbow bridge and they always made sure to bring him water the second we got there. The way all staff there treated Liam with love, for that alone I’ll always recommend them! But, since we keep having great times here I’ll always continue going here! Yes, sometimes they’re insanely busy and we wait a bit for our food or drinks. We don’t complain because we understand and we just enjoy each other’s company. ❤️”

Burgers tasted close to how they were back in the day and the frosted mug for drinking is a real nice touch. Fries were perfectly crispy too. Never disappoints.

I’m not a huge mcd fan but this has got to be the best mcd I’ve been to. Service has always been top notch regardless of drive thru or walk in. Fries and nuggets are always fresh. Everything is just on point. It’s been years since I’ve been back but stopped by today. Still the best. When the cutlery was replaced the waitress placed on the table holding the business end, not by the handle. When our food came there was hair in the food. We were given excuses and offered our meal to be replaced. Needless to say our appetite had disappeared, we left and will not return.”

We accidentally set our $50 pickup order to their London location (an hour away 😩). Tired, frustrated, and now food-broke, we called the London store and were told there was nothing they could do. But in dealing with the Brantford location, they ended up making our order fresh and said they would work it out with the other location themselves, even though it’s a separate owner and was going to be a major hassle for them to sort out. Not to mention the loss in goods. They could have told us “sorry, nothing we can do either, - sorry you’re dumb for making this mistake…” but instead, they made our problem their problem - and that is what amazing local business looks like. I can’t believe the generosity and amazing service. We are so incredibly grateful, and it just made us love this place even more. “I had not been to this location in a very long time, but decided to try it again today at lunchtime.
I was pleasantly impressed.
The chicken was properly cooked and the correct temperature.
The fries were hot and not excessively oily.
The biscuit was cooked perfectly and not doughy like other locations I've tried.
I will definitely be returning more often now that I know there's attention paid to provided accuracy of their Menu items here.
The customer service here was also very friendly and timely.

I visited this establishment for the very first time, and I can honestly say the experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the ambience was intriguing, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. It is a very clean and inviting establishment.

A special thank you to Harpreet, who made our visit truly memorable. She knew the menu inside and out and recommended some wonderful options. The food was absolutely delicious, and her warm, genuine personality made our interaction even more enjoyable.

What impressed me most was the level of care she showed throughout our visit. Harpreet took the time to come to our table several times to make sure everything was perfect and that we were enjoying our meal. That kind of personal attention and hospitality is truly appreciated.
