“East Side Mario’s? Cancel the franchise agreements. Tear down the neon signage. As of tonight, the establishment is officially North End Kim’s, and I will personally battle (kind words only) anyone in the corporate office who says otherwise. Mario has been coasting on his laurels for decades; Kim (our waitress) is the true, undisputed monarch of casual dining.
I ordered the tomato soup and the cheese cappelletti. What Kim delivered was a liquid baptism and a bowl of ricotta-filled miracles. When she set the soup down, it didn’t just steam, I think it fixed my lower back pain maybe and I felt more comfortable admitting that maybe the grudges I’ve been holding in my life just aren’t worth it. It’s not just endless bread when Kim is your server, it’s the beginning of peace, but also so much bread. I felt comfortable eating fast because I knew that if I started choking she would save me, FOR SURE, that’s just the vibe she gives. Could that weird singing delivery robot do that? No way… it doesn’t have any Heimlich delivering attachments…. Not yet at least.

Is she there when you need her? Instantly. Is she hovering too often? Never. I know that makes it seem like maybe she is a service poltergeist who appears and disappears but she’s just the kindest and nicest waitress who offered me a refill of Diet Pepsi even though it was so close to bedtime.

So would I go back? Yes. For two reasons, 1) it was a pleasant experience thanks to Kim specifically but also the cooks and 2) to make sure that they know that those weird singing delivery robots are no match for Kim’s kind, prompt service and they will never save my life. Ever.

“Always great service with even better product.. Lucianis has been my go to for quite a while, sure I’ll try others but I AM ALWAYS COMING BACK TO LUCIANI’S.. Quality of the pizza an easy 10/10 and the cheese they use is ultimately my favourite .. Every time I go in the owners a staff are always the best always smiling and great to chat with .. Yesterday(05/01/26) my buddies and I ordered two 24 squares one with just pep, the other had pep slice bacon onion both turned out more than delicious.. Even when they’re busy it’s always the same result - Perfect Pie Perfect service“

“I have been going to this Maria’s location for quite a while and I have never had a bad Pizza or bad service. The quality of the food is always excellent and the service has always been fantastic, The staff are always attentive and polite, not an easy task when you’re super busy and a bit stressed. I find it amazing that no matter how busy this location can get my order has always been correctly made and ready for pick up in the time window provided. “I placed an online order for delivery, the regular pizza and wings were good according to my husband and son. I was also ordering 2 vegan pizzas and was advised when I was checking out that I needed to remove the vegan pizzas from the cart as it was not avaliable for delivery!!
Not sure why that would be so I ordered the vegan pizzas from another pizza place as I was not in the mood to go a pick up the vegan pizza.
I was disappointed for sure, I would like to know why the vegan pizza could not be delivered with the regular pizzas??
Pizza is good but I find they are a bit light on the toppings they put on the pizza though. Taste is good!“

“Pizza Roma is still the best place in Brantford to get Pizza and salad and wings for a decent price. When they say lg they mean large. They havent succumbed to shrinkflation. When I want an excellent Ceasar salad with great tasting ceasar dressing I call them. Their cheese n garlic bread fingers are not skimpy. The wings are also excellent. The hot sauce is just right. “Good service, the lunch special for $15 was a great deal with entrée, side and drink. The restaurant was quite empty for lunch. The service was fast, and the food was very good (hot chicken sandwich with Caesar salad). I brought a client and it was a good volume to talk. TVs were on in the dining room and bar showing sports highlights. Looked to be a good place to watch sports, especially in the bar.“
