Huge shout out to the Brantford Chip Wagon (next to the vet clinic on KGR in coin-op car wash lot). We had a delicious meal! The lady who took our order from hubby was super kind and helpful. It IS CASH ONLY so she took our order and he went to the bank across the street while it was being prepared. We had a fair-sized order and it was prepared quickly and perfectly! Fish was crispy on the outside and flaky and moist on the inside - a prime aspect to look for in battered fish!!...
Wow! What a hidden gem! This is the best fish and chips around! Made to order, piping hot with generous portions of fish! The sides are equally delicious (we had French fries and onion rings) with good-sized servings. The food was so good, we didn't think to get photos before diving in! There are picnic tables to eat outside or bring it home as take-out. Plan ahead: CASH ONLY, but good prices.
The haddock dinner was delicious. Fish was fresh and Dee makes a great batter- crispy! The fries were freshly cut in the chip truck using a traditional press. The dinner came with coleslaw and plenty of tartar sauce. Great value!
