COBS Bread is a bakery chain and known for their various scone options. The Lemon Blueberry scone is a popular one, and the cinnamon scone was a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for a treat to share (or not), this is a good option to bring something different to the table/office. Enjoy!

Both cashiers thought it was the other’s job to help the next person.

We go nearly every Saturday to get bread and buns. Everything is beyond fresh here. The service is always fantastic, their staff is very friendly. Their croissants are beyond ❤️ it’s hot cross buns season & it’s also become part of our weekly order….. sooooo good! PS: their sourdough is THE BEST! & the scones!

I stopped in here after being here before with my husband and the delicious smell as I walked in the door reminded me of my dad’s baking. It’s a very clean store with lots of variety of goods to choose from. My favourite’s are the cinnamon buns with frosting, baguettes and their buns. I have had their garlic and Parmesan bread too and it’s was so tasty and fresh . I would highly recommend this store.

I hate to say it but for me the loaves of bread here are just not edible. I know it's probably just because I've been ruined by eating sugar added grocery store bread my whole life but I switched to whole wheat as a teenager in an attempt to be healthier. Ate that for about 10 years then switched to whole grain breads before nearly giving up bread completely in the last couple of years for a really low carb nearly carnivore diet which has been a miracle, went from 262 pounds to 170 now. Once in a while though I still like to have some toast with my eggs and I was hoping some of the healthy breads here would work but they're just so bland and unappetizing I'd rather have none.

It’s a good store to have in Brantford. Bakery items are good and fresh. Some items are overpriced for example, small dinner rolls pack of 12 pcs. $ 7.20 , small bagel $1.30 and Focaccia bread small square size $5.50.
That’s really high price for the items.

The bread is really good . However every time I go here for bread the loaf of bread shrinks. Without a doubt the bread is getting smaller and smaller
Food is good. Service is generally pretty slow.

The products are good quality, but the service leaves much to be desired. It’s a hit or miss. One employee (“Eryn”) in particular is painfully slow and has zero customer service skills (no greeting, avoids eye contact, keeps looking randomly at the ceiling and out the window when serving customers). Many of the other front-line workers are ok. Plenty of other bakeries to choose from in this city.

We are regular customers at Cobs Brantford . Went today for their special (free gourmet rolls with purchase of cinnamon buns). We were told there was a limit of 10 per day. REALLY?? Of course they were gone. It might have been a good idea to mention this in the ad. It may have meant less traffic but it would also mean less ticked off customers.

I usually have a sensitive stomach and need to take Nexium after eating bread or pastries. However, this bakery has been a delightful exception. Unlike many others that use frozen, shipped products, this bakery makes and bakes everything fresh on-site.
From the moment I walked in, the delightful aroma and the charming atmosphere instantly transported me back to the bakeries of Europe. The experience was made even better by a very helpful young lady whose warm smile and friendly demeanor added to the welcoming ambiance.
For anyone with a sensitive stomach or a love for authentic, freshly baked goods, this bakery is a must visit! I can enjoy their delicious offerings without any discomfort, which is a rare and wonderful find.
