I'm sitting in Dueys right now and I had to come in here and make a post. The ice cream and customer service is always great here but tonight it was especially on point. I'm not sure what the young man's name was but as soon as we entered we were greeted and asked if we knew what we would like. He had a great attitude. We were also offered samples and as I was with two smaller children they of course wanted a couple samples. The young man happily obliged. It's...
Amazing ice cream shop. Massive scoops, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and decent amount of outdoor seating. Staff are very respectful of individuals with allergies, and do their best to avoid cross contamination.
Staff are very accommodating, and have expressed their knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergens. They have been happy to use fresh scoops, and have offered to get unopened product from their freezer.
Cones and cakes are obviously not gluten-free, but much of their ice cream is. The ice cream is from Kawartha Lakes, which has many gluten-free flavours. An allergen list is available on request.
Portion sizes are massive as well.
