The food was not great. Everything was obviously frozen, not fresh. The fish and chips were mostly dough. The steak pie was from a box and burnt. They forgot to put tortillas in the bag for the fajitas. Disappointing, given the prices. Would not return.

$14 for a plain old grilled cheese (plain bread). and a bowl of so called vegetable rice soup. No rice and big chunks of broccoli and cauliflower. Broth was tasteless!!!!! Server Morgan, just brushed it off!! Didn’t even care to offer us anything else . Two seniors….also ordered quiche with the “soup” was also served with a 4 inch quiche. This was on the seniors menu.What a waste of money……won’t go back…🤮🤮🤮

We’ve been here a few times and it’s always been great. The food is consistent, the service is always prompt and friendly. We showed up yesterday for St Patrick’s day and it was an exceptional experience. The place was packed but after a brief wait, we were actually offered a table that was occupied by the hostess’ grandparents which was such a kind gesture considering we have kids that were hungry and it was dinner time. The service, despite how busy it was, was awesome. The food was prompt and delicious and the atmosphere was brilliant. The band were really good and made for a fun time. I cannot say enough about the duke on park and I feel so fortunate to have such a home away from home “pub” in Brantford.
My wife and I had a great experience all around. 10/10

The live music was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming but the service and food was absolutely terrible
We came in with a large group and were probably the biggest table there, roughly 10 people at our table at 7:30pm on a saturday,I ordered a beer and it took roughly 40 min before the beer even arrived, in that time half the table was getting their food delivered while the other half was still waiting to place our order. Once we finally put our order in it was close to another 40 min for my wings to arrive.
When biting into them I could tell instantly that they were microwaved, the outside was way to hot while the inside was luke warm. While we were eating no one came over to see if we needed anything, refills ext.
Once the meal was finally done it was another 30 min wait before I got up to ask for our bill then it was another 20 min wait for the machine, the place wasn't packed, we had people come in after us and left before us, the staff were almost avoiding us, only saw the waitress roughly 3 times the 2 and half hours we were there. The pricing was far to much for the wait and it did not deliver.
I could understand a bit of a wait if the place was packed but it wasn't, it was an average amount of people for a Saturday night.
Was my first and last time I have ever been to the Duke, I will never recommend this place to anyone.
