I’ve heard great things about this place. Thought I’d try it out for lunch and got a piri piri chicken Mac and cheese bowl. It was disgusting bowl of mush, with a heavy layer of fat floating on top. It almost resembled soup. I ate the chicken off the top and left the rest. The coffee however, was good.

James and Tara are the most welcoming people I have ever met. The food here is absolutely delicious as they make it from scratch. It’s worth the price and it’s a great place to hang out. Students rejoice! I also went to Montreal and the bagels are as good as the ones from St. Viatuer which is so impressive. I love seeing the bagels being made!

The staff are so kind and make every single customer feel special, which is hard to do with the large amount of people that come in. The food is beyond amazing as well and I crave it constantly

First time coming to this gem of a place in Brantford! The food is so delicious! We had the 3 tacos( 2 beef and pork) and the featured bagel sandwich! Menu changes every week. The company's owner, Terra is such a wonderful warm welcoming person to her customers. The place itself has a patio in the back which is so cute and private! Dog friendly too. If you're in town, make sure to grab a bite to eat here! Also, the drinks are so good! I had their pumpkin cold brew and the lemonade is also delicious. I'd like to mention they have a pay-it-forward board where you can purchase anything from their menu and they'll write it on paper and pin it so that someone who is in need can come in and help themselves to what you have bought for them. Super supportive of their community.

This is by far the best restaurant in all of Brantford. Not only is it wheelchair accessible, it's also community focused. With local art and a gorgeous patio From Scratch is the perfect date spot. The food is always fresh and exciting, our personal favourites are the lox bagel, their cheesecake, and the cherry lemonade (the best lemonade I've ever had, hands down). The staff are friendly and always ready to help or accommodate. If you are stumped for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, DONT HESITATE!

I ordered the breakfast sandwich. For $10 I got a stail bagel I could not eat it was so hard. The bacon had was so salty. I only ate the egg and cheese and threw everything else out.
