Although AYCE is twice the price nowadays everywhere, Joy Sushi remains the best and only option for it in Brantford. At least they add some sashimi to the lunch menu to justify costs!

The sushi was amazing. It was my first time here and I was definitely surprised by how fast and good the service and the food was.
Expect to pay an 18% gratuity fee if going there with 7 or more. Staff and owner were both irritable and encouraged me to eat else where when questioned about their policy as I have never been informed of this in all my visits there. When I said then I won't be tipping if your forcing this fee on me, then the owner became additionally irritable with me. I took my party of 10 people and went across the road and spent our money else where and saved upwards of $150 dollars before tips. My first bad experience there but bad service goes a long way... Will be hard pressed to return after the poor service and mockery from behind the counters...

Food was great, service was good. Originally thought the portion sizes were small but realized they're smart, makes it so you can try more dishes. Was busy when we got there but took maybe 5 minutes to be seated and once you place your order, the food comes out extremely quick.

This was a pleasant find, first time there. Food was good and quick. It wasn't obvious that, though we did a late lunch we had to be done by a certain time, and it wasn't clear that the place was a buffet with a set price until placing an order. Also it was difficult to figure out serving size for each item. I'd go back but this is a rare occasion kind of place. Pricing is just too high.

I ordered for my birthday from this place and it was bleh. The rolls were soggy and the hand roll was dry. The pizza was like a slop of fish and sauces. I ate because I was starving but I won’t go there again. It was dinner for one for $40 plus tip. It’s too expensive for such low quality. Too bad we lost Hi Sushi. Next time I’ll go to Blossom
