When I was a kid we moved to Branford in 74, and Maria's was hands down the best pizza I had ever had or have ever had since. I just moved back to Branford and decided to order one up and man what a disappointment; the crust was like crunchy cardboard, pretty sure they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh mushrooms, the cheese and sauce just isn't the same as it used to be, and it was extremely salty. I guess the secrets of the good pizza have died with the old ladies who used to make it. No problem with the service whatsoever, but the product is what I came for and the product is why I will never return.

Great telephone and counter service. Very disappointed in the large Canadian pizza we picked up tonight. First time ordering from Maria’s East (usually we order from Maria’s West and are happy with the meal). Won’t be ordering from East end again! But the service was excellent!

Staff are always friendly and professional. There’s something about the toppings at Maria’s that are simply better than other pizzerias. So fresh and tasty! Maria’s is our go-to for pizza!
New years eve, usually we only order marias this time if it was my first time I wouldn't order it again but I know they can do better, hopefully won't be so over cooked it didn't taste good at all

Usually good pizza , but tonight’s was disappointing as we got a 35 party slice for my family and it was chewy not normally soft when eating it. Really looking forward in eating it as it’s my birthday
