New ownership and renovations are happening now. The new owners were the ones who made my fish and chips specials and they are always friendly and the food is great with an amazing price. Can't wait to see what the place looks like with the renovations.

I ordered cod and chips. It tasted amazing. Since moving from England, this is the best cod/ fish and chips I've tasted in Ontario so far. A good balance of moisture and flavour. The chips at first seems soggy but when I eat it with the fish, it seemed to work well.The only let-down was the tartar sauce, which was pre-made in a sealed sachet rather than home made on-site which is disappointing for a dedicated fish and chip restaurant.The coleslaw was a little dry but it came complimentary and wasn't needed. I suggest you scrap that and add a nicer tartar sauce.Another recommendation would be to have some sort of vegan option which is similar to fish but also with batter so it looks and tastes similar to bring a new set of audience.The restaurant was completely empty at 7pm on Saturday when I picked up my order, which was surprising.

Ordered chicken fingers and they were pre formed chicken. Junk! Use real chicken please. Great portion, but didnt even eat half my order due to the gross fake chicken.. Will never go there again. It was my first time there.

They advertise "Fresh lake Erie perch" which is false. I ordered the 6pc Lake Erie Perch & Chips dinner.The perch had red skin, and anyone who has even a little fishing experience will know the only perch you will find/catch in Ontario is White/Yellow perch.Red perch come from the Ocean which means they are false advertising.The price is also vastly different, red perch are $20/pound and Lake Erie perch are $30/pound.Which means if your getting 8oz of perch your getting $10 worth of ocean perch instead of $15 of lake Erie perch.It costs $20 for the 6pc Perch dinner, assuming it's 8oz that would be a fair deal as your expecting $15 worth of lake Erie perch and some fries.However your really getting $10 worth of Ocean perch and some fries.Like I said the food is good however they are false advertising the fresh lake Erie perch and are giving a subpar alternative that isn't even fresh.

First time trying the fish and chips here and it was very delicious. Can't believe I've never tried it before.Met Robin and Dave; 2 very nice people.The halibut was the best I've ever had!I recommend everyone to try it for themselves.
