Meat is top quality, always. Many smokers and smoker products to choose from. Lots of bbq products. Many frozen dog treats like beef bones and pig feet. And lunch service is second to none. Sandwiches are large and delicious and salads are delicious as well. The staff making our lunches deserves a special shout out. Absolutely my favourite place to shop for all these things!

Got my smoker here and they really look after you. I had a probe go almost a year later and they fixed me right up no cost to me. Also the counter food and other items make this a great spot to stop.

Friendly, good food, good lunch bar, soups, salads, chicken, etc were all decent.
Cabbage rolls had barely any meat, if any. They were all rice, ok-ish.

Ordered for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner for 30, and had a very awkward conversation with a gentleman Brian. I guess I was looking for some input as I wasn’t familiar with menu. He just kept saying we can do whatever you want , but didn’t give any options. I asked for bbq ‘d chicken, Parisienne potatoes and roasted veggies. When asking for a clarification on something.. he simply said they’re both good. We do this all the time. Well not sure how this was bbq chicken as it was like KFC with a breading of some sort. The potatoes were bland, and not sure their roasted vegetables were suitable for reheating . Which reheating instructions were not specifically for what we ordered. Anyway , I think several things missed their mark for this occasion. Most notably was making your customer feel patronized and not taking the time to explain your process and options.

Always a great experience. I have only come by for lunch on occasion but the butcher section of the shop has some beautiful cuts of meat. My only suggestion would be about some consistency posting the soups of the day online. I personally feel bad calling the busy shop to ask what they have that day. I would be there more if I knew they had my favourite soups that day, and I imagine others would be as well.
The staff is all lovely and works hard. Worth a visit for sure.

Strodes provided us with pulled pork and hot sliced beef for the occasion. It was ready on time and very tasty. Our thanks to Brian and his staff for helping to make the occasion special.
