best spot in town.
Young man tending to the large barbecue grill outside cooking the chicken so you know it’s fresh. . Owner very pleasant gentleman. Chicken could’ve had a little bit more seasoning same for the rice.
Omg the food is amazing. Just the right level of heat and flavor. I ordered the oxtail dinner. The meat fell right off the bone and the slaw that came with it was sweet and tasty. Definitely a must to eat here!
Great food, definitely made with love!
Definitely the best Jamaican food in town. This guy makes everything from scratch. Even the sauces and all that stuff, which makes it not only amazing taste wise, but good for you, because no additives and stuff from buying pre-made everything. This gentleman named Colin is not only super cool to talk to He seems like he really cares about his food and his job and likes to make people happy. I've had a few of the Jamaican places in town, and they're all pretty good. But when it comes to customer service prices and just overall damn good food. This place has it going on. It's one of those little holes in the wall that have amazing stuff. It's not as big as some of the other places. But that doesn't stop it from having big big flavor you can't go in this place. And not really have a smile on your face. As the owner always treat you properly and make sure that your food is made right and in a timely fashion. Don't miss out on this place. Market street can be a weird place. Nowadays in brantford, but I will brave that street any day to get this guy's cooking! I forgot to mention he doesn't just have Jamaican. Options he also has burgers fries, pierogis I had a few other cool things as well as fresh made juice.
No one ever answers the phone . They open and close whenever they feel like it. I’m not sure if this is a business ?

It's very evident that Colin has lost the passion for cooking/running his own restaurant. The quality is not what it used to be and the pricing is very inconsistent. Also you'd be lucky if the place opens on time.

Stopped in before heading to school - very little goat given, very weak seasoning of curry..I was given a ton of rice with chunks of garlic ?Oh and the best part? A large black hair was in the rice, ended up throwing it all out for obvious reasons. Very disappointing considering what I’m used to, $21? Noooo that’s crazy my friend!!!

In one word - DELICIOUS. Chef was welcoming and friendly. Had curry goat, jerk chicken and chicken soup, everything was amazing. Ordered some fried dumplings on the side and Chef included some jerk gravy as a dipping sauce … a definite must if you visit. Our family will definitely return for another delicious meal.
Vegetarian options: Our niece enjoyed the chickpea and potato curry with rice n peas.
