Excellent halibut and real potatoe fries cooked just right. Highly recommend!
I am so glad I found The Lighthouse. The quality of fish is excellent. So tasty and fresh. This is definitely the only place I will ever eat fish and chips in Brantford.
Service is also friendly and efficient as well! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The staff don't wear proper food prep gloves while handling raw and cooked food. They have staff walking around in tank tops and no hair nets. I'm lucky I didn't get food poisoning. I'll never go here again. I guess some people can overlook these things but I can't. Plus they price gouge for holidays.
Ordered through Uber took an hour and a half . The coleslaw was just soggy cabbage no dressing. They sent 1 small tarter packet and 1 vinegar. Hardly any chips. Last time I order from there.
The fish batter was nice and crispy. Not too thick. Flavor was delicious.
Went for fish and chips tonight for my dad's birthday dinner everything was excellent owner friendly food delious would recommend this place for fish and chips anytime special right now big piece of fish and lots of fries as well as all condiments for 6.98! What a deal!
Went in for pick up order-2 pc haddock & fries. Fish was way too greasy and heavily breaded. Fries were just bland! And the tartar sauce was awful. Very disappointed.
Excellent fish and chips. Not to heavily battered. Chips are very good
Crispy fish cooked well. Chips were hot. Not a fan of their tartar sauce. Will return for the Thursday special.
So nice

I'm hooked on Lighthouse and Chips! I stopped by this hidden gem and ordered the classic Donair and Fish & Chips combo. The donair was love at first bite - tender beef, crispy veggies, and a sweet and tangy sauce all wrapped in a warm pita. But the real showstopper was the Fish & Chips. Flaky, fresh cod in a light, crispy batter, served with golden fries and a side of creamy coleslaw. The portions were generous, and the prices were unbeatable. Friendly service too! Can't wait to come back and try more of their seafood delights. Highly recommend!

I tried the Nova Scotia Donair, it took 25 minutes ro get it due to the constant chatter in Indian from the 2 girls working there. They never shut up the whole time saying who knows what because it wasn't in English. I got the Donair, they microwaved my bread for about 3 minutes it was hard as rock, The meat was all dried out like jerky and had a consistency of leather and cardboard I saw 3 pieces of tomato and some sauce, the only thing related to a Donair was the sauce. It was the worst Donaur I ever had, I'll never retuned. BTW I threw the Mess out in the garbage. I gave it a Star as it was the only way to Post.
