We were part of a group meal which comes with a separate menu. However there was no pricing on the menu and we were told one price covered the meal that was not the case. I ordered an appetizer off the menu and was charged $40 extra with tax and tip. On top of that the appy was tasteless and the rest of the meal was not much better. Very expensive night with not much gratification

Lots of UK and Canadian memorabilia to look at while you eat some amazing food with great service. If was good enough for the Queen, you know you'll love it as well!

Terrible experience for lunch 2 weeks ago!
A bruschetta shared with a friend , a large Greek salad and cup of coffee set me back over $60.. Stupidly I gave a tip despite the servers bossy impatient manner and the inferior quality of the food.
I’m still angry that I didn’t contest the amount. I guess because I was with friends and dint want to make a scene. I will never go there again! Maybe that’s why the place was almost empty!

Food is really soggy and mushy somehow. The calamari was soft and almost dissolved in my mouth. Same thing as the steamed veggie that came with my prime rib, mushy and soft… The balsamic dressing on the garden salad is way too sweet, tastes like brown sugar syrup. The prime ribs was very salty, I could only eat a little bit before I hurt my throat. However it was way too expensive to leave it, so the best I can do is take it to go to see if I can mix it with rice at home to make it bearable. Also! We spent $150 on one appetizer and two mains… you can see why I would take it to go. My soul hurts after this meal.

I had a lovely lunch today with family celebrating our friend’s 98th birthday. The place is very lovely and the service was excellent. The food was very good except fur the burger someone had. He found it acceptable. Portions were far larger than expected having read a previous review. They brought the guest of honour a surprise chocolate mouse mousse which was delicious and adorable, surrounded on the exterior of the plate with happy 98th birthday and her name. It was a delight for all to remember. Thank you to the chef and staff.

Food was good but not really great for the price. This is an olde school place with much attention to service, piano bar atmosphere and food offerings from a previous era (not a bad thing). Cost is high, however, and the food not five star.

Can't miss a delicious meal at the Olde School. Been going on a more regular basis lately, and it never disappoints....highly recommend. Service is top notch.

Love the traditional throwback feel of this place. The schoolbell literally rings! So fun! We were a large party there to celebrate a friend's anniversary, and the service was incredible. Definitely recommend the prime rib! 👌🏽

Overall really great experience dinning here. Has an old time charm to it and the wsit staff is so kind.
Food for the most part was very very tasty, minus the pickeral which was slightly bland but aside from that I can't complain.

Had a lovely evening at The Olde School Restaurant. The atmosphere is truly something special — full of charm and character, with a live piano player adding a classy, nostalgic touch to the experience. The authenticity of the setting really stands out and makes for a memorable visit.

Service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As for the food, it was decent - about a 3 out of 5 in terms of taste and presentation. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite match the high-end pricing, which felt a bit steep for what we got.

Overall, we came for the ambiance and service and weren’t disappointed. Would return for a special occasion or to enjoy the unique setting again, but I’d love to see the food quality elevated to better match the pricing.
