The Olde School Restaurant

Gus and his staff hosted my 80th birthday celebration for my family and friends. The service and food were superb and the staff were unfailingly efficient and friendly. Occasionally Gus came by to check that things were going well. We have dined many times at the School House including our wedding and the reception that followed. We have never been disappointed. We intend to return many times.

Attended a company retiree luncheon.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and we will definitely be making it a tradition from now on. They are great at making you feel special. We had hosts, waiters, and the bartender tell us happy anniversary! The food was excellent, we both had the prime rib and it was perfectly done! Some of the best prime rib we have had in a very long time! The complimentary dessert was truly amazing and was the perfect pairing with a cappuccino.

Have been to this restaurant many a time over the years and usually the food is good. Unfortunately last night was not. Appetizers were fine and the service good. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallops medley, the shrimp was tough and over cooked,and the adductor muscle was not taken off the scallops . They did send out six different ones after pointing the error. My lamb came out as ordered, medium rare and tasty. My brother in law's was not the case, he ordered the lamb medium and it came out rare. Desert, the key lime was not very good and was served covered in strawberry sauce, but the little chocolate mousse mouse pretty good. Will probably go back again in the future, but last night was a bit hit and miss.

The food was excellent but it is time for an updated decor. It is dark and aged. I was also disappointed that the price online is cheaper by 5$ per person and was not honoured. Change the website or honour your advertised price. That being said I may return as the food was excellent.

One of the best restaurants that I had the privilege of visiting. We make a point to go here for all special occasions. The food is amazing and the owner Gus is extremely friendly and he treats everyone with such respect.

If you enjoy fine dining without leaving your wallet empty then you will love this place.
Truly is one of the best restaurants it our family’s favourite place to enjoy a wonderful meal with an intimate atmosphere.

Great food, great bread, gread butters. RED wine should have been served in larger red wine glasses, larger glasses would have been best. Very old school. My favorite taste that night was a cheese dish. So good i might have eaten the whole thing myself but it was actually my nephew Brady's order so I just had a little peice. It was deep fried cheese and i was like... oh my god... I am in heaven , if only I had ordered that.

Delicious food, served quickly and in an attractive manner. Attentive and pleasant service with a focus on customer satisfaction. Lovely building that has been nicely renovated. Happy to go back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is not accessible but there is an elevator from the parking lot into the dining area. There is an accessible bathroom.

Beautiful restaurant, feels homey, and the food and service was fantastic.
They had a singing pianist, which made the atmosphere there even more enjoyable.. I ordered the junior prime rib, was so delicious and cooked to perfection.
Will definitely eat here again..
A report card came with the bill, which was a nice touch. Giving us the opportunity to rate our visit. No bad review whatsoever. The Olde School restaurant is excellent.
