It's definitely a hidden gem of Brantford! Exceptional service, fascinating atmosphere, and high-quality British style cuisine!

Food was good but not really great for the price. This is an olde school place with much attention to service, piano bar atmosphere and food offerings from a previous era (not a bad thing). Cost is high, however, and the food not five star.

Can't miss a delicious meal at the Olde School. Been going on a more regular basis lately, and it never disappoints....highly recommend. Service is top notch.

Love the traditional throwback feel of this place. The schoolbell literally rings! So fun! We were a large party there to celebrate a friend's anniversary, and the service was incredible. Definitely recommend the prime rib! 👌🏽

Overall really great experience dinning here. Has an old time charm to it and the wsit staff is so kind.
Food for the most part was very very tasty, minus the pickeral which was slightly bland but aside from that I can't complain.

Had a lovely evening at The Olde School Restaurant. The atmosphere is truly something special — full of charm and character, with a live piano player adding a classy, nostalgic touch to the experience. The authenticity of the setting really stands out and makes for a memorable visit.

Service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As for the food, it was decent - about a 3 out of 5 in terms of taste and presentation. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite match the high-end pricing, which felt a bit steep for what we got.

Overall, we came for the ambiance and service and weren’t disappointed. Would return for a special occasion or to enjoy the unique setting again, but I’d love to see the food quality elevated to better match the pricing.

A hidden gem and I hope it stays that way because to get a table here you need to book way in advance.

The food was absolutely amazing. They did a great job with the lamb especially the seasoning. Greeks definitely know how to cook meat and seafood so it was no surprise that this place was great.

They had live music as well which was lovely especially for my mom's birthday. I'll definitely come back here for sure.

Amazing food and service

What a huge unique restaurant!

Great food, lovely atmosphere, good service from friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our caesar salad, filet mignon, and cheesecake. Large food and drink menu to choose from. Talented piano player to listen to. They even have a coat check upon arrival.

Gus and his staff hosted my 80th birthday celebration for my family and friends. The service and food were superb and the staff were unfailingly efficient and friendly. Occasionally Gus came by to check that things were going well. We have dined many times at the School House including our wedding and the reception that followed. We have never been disappointed. We intend to return many times.

I love this restaurant the service is amazing, very nice ambiance and clean. The food is very expensive, we went for a party husband and I had prime rib dinner , he had a glass of wine I had a pop and 2 coffees. $180. They also add their tip to the bill. I do not agree with tip added to bill.
