I am sorry to hear that it is closing. For the money, it was the best Chinese food in Brentford. I have been going there for over 20 years, and in all that time, I have had very few negative experiences. I can say that about very few other restaurants, and this one has outlasted a lot of them. It is not possible to remain in business for as long as they have without a solid reputation. Reading some of the comments has surprised me, but I hope the owner is aware of how many people have been coming to the restaurant for many years and enjoyed their experiences. We shall miss them.

Two visits in a row this week, both were great. The food was delicious, though they still weren't offering their old staple of pork fried rice, the vegetable fried rice was still okay (although way too busy for my palate).
There's 0 point in me discussing any of the food's taste, or quality as sadly, the owners have decided on retirement and are closing the restaurant as of September 7, 2024 (Their last day).
You have 7 full days, 2 buffet options each day in order to get your fill and see how the restaurant is going out on a high note.
I can only hope another Chinese family buys the property and opens a new restaurant with buffet.
With the end of an era, I'd personally like to thank the family for all the years of service they've provided me and my family.

I am very disappointed with my latest trip to West Garden. Couldn't get a seat we were going to have to put our name on a list and wait anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes if we were lucky. We didn't even put our names on the list to wait. The other thing about this is there were tables that had no one sitting at them. I will not be returning there to eat.

Was there august 27th with a group of friends, food was disgusting, very salty, and there was hair in I, couldn’t eat it, the waitress didn’t seem like she cared if she was there or not, dishes piled up on table, lady next to me had a cup for tea it was disgusting dirty, told waitress she was to bring another back for her never did, she was annoyed because we all wanted own bill. I told waitress she didn’t seem to care, I was turned off never reordered anything, appetite was done. I’m glad they are closing, the whole place should have been shut down yrs ago. So what ever you do don’t! Go there. !,!

I am so sorry to see West Garden buffet closing! The food is always fabulous. My father-in-law likes to say"it's the best fried chicken in all of Branford". I have always been a fan of west garden. I am so sorry to hear that it will be closing soon. All of my family and friends loved the food and the service. I wish the owner the best of luck in her retirement.
Best chicken wings in brantford even tho they are not covered in sauce. Will be closing for good September 7th, 2024. So get there and get them chicken wings before it's to late

We tried this place last year and was disappointed with the quality of food and service. Every time we drive by it seems packed, so we decided to give it another chance. Definitely another disappointment and we'll never return. The food was horrible - either dry or tasteless. There's hardly a selection to have and nothing is labeled correctly. The staff take forever to bring you a refill of your drinks and to clear your table off of used plates. Overall, a very cheap Chinese restaurant experience. Hey if that's your thing and you don't care, go for it. We definitely won't be. $20 per person for dinner was not worth it.

The people working there were nice, the inside was like a typical Chinese buffet. The food was really not good at all. Nothing was hot, things didn't seem fully cooked, the taste was off. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.
