Service was really slow despite being only two other people in the restaurant. The waiter offered to provide us a small plate of pasta for our toddler which resulted in being charged $10 for it, which was excessive. They charged us for water too and after a larger party (whom the waiter knew) entered they offered them tap water. I didn't know this was an option. $15 for basic pasta before adding protein. The food itself was nothing to write home about. Could easily make something better from a jar. The bacon in my pasta was mostly fat which I couldn't eat. Over all can't help but feel they ripped us off. Obviously won't be back.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair bathroom

Just happened to stumble upon this place on Good Friday. The food was amazing. We had ravioli, carbonara and penne vodka pasta. Every dish was superb. Fresh and homemade. The lovely woman sent out bruschetta type snack for us complimentary as they cooked our meals. Service was excellent !Will be back to this little gem !

Amazing from start to finish!! Service was warm and wonderful. We went out to dinner as three friends to catch up and the waiter was so patient with us as we chatting. We never felt rushed. The food was beyond amazing!! You need to go! We will go again for sure!!

Had a family party of 12 at my home in Bayshore Village. I went to Lanterna Restaurant to get advice on catering food for our party. The gentleman at Lantern Restaurant suggested lasagna, cheese bread and caesar salad. I picked the food up at 4:30 on party day all ready for me. The food was incredibly delicious with many compliments from everyone. The lasagna I was told by many was the best lasagna they had ever eaten, I agreed. Highly recomend this restaurant for any catering needs you may have. PS. The portions were very generous and leftovers were great the next day.

Decided to eat here based on reviews and we were not disappointed. The penne arrabbiata with chicken parmigiana had a flavourful authentic taste. My wife found the spaghetti bolognese with grilled chicken heavy on parmesan, but the menu warns you that most meals come with parmesan. The garlic bread needed slightly longer on the toaster. The strawberry shortcake which the manager did not charge us for was light, fresh and a perfect dessert to end a great meal. The manager had no reason to offer us a free desert. Plus the complimentary bruschetta was a very appetizing starter. Service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
What an absolutely outstanding little restaurant this is. The people were extremely nice and went way out of their way to make us feel welcome. The “small” salad was more than enough for two and they gave us some free bruschetta and even a free sample desert. The food was outstanding. Can’t say enough good things. Highly

A small Italian restaurant serving very authentic Italian meals. I tried the seafood chowder and chicken pizza. The kids ordered two types of pasta and penne.The seafood soup is seasoned just right, and the accompanying noodles are a bit like Chinese scallion pancakes. The freshly baked pizza dough is fragrant and crispy, and the chicken is slightly burnt but not stale at all. I couldn't taste a bite of the pasta or penne. The two kids were done in a moment.The waiters were very kind and enthusiastic. The owner and chef looks Italian at first glance. There weren't many customers at night so food was served quickly.It's a pity that the store does not have a lake view, but the taste makes up for this shortcoming.
