We went to chemong Lodge for their Easter buffet dinner. The food was really really good! Absolutely delicious. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never been there before. The service was very friendly and personable- but they disappeared for a while- I think they were getting tired since they were also doing an Easter brunch earlier. The only real criticism I would have- is the decor is a little off putting. There is rustic and then there is old and dirty looking. The entrance way does not inspire confidence in the whole experience. The t shirts and sweatshirts shelves, the dark dingy entrance- I just expected a little more effort- ambiance is kinda a big part of a dining experience right? Especially when you first walk into a restaurant.I think this could be a real go-to place for family dining- but it needs some new paint and more inviting atmosphere- ( other than the lake views which are supper nice) to enjoy the delicious food in.

The Sunday brunch is one of the highlights of my weekend every time I go there. The quality of food is amazing and there is an excellent selection of options available. You can tell that there is plenty of care put into each meal and I always keep coming back.

We had the pleasure of having dinner at Chemong Lodge this past Good Friday for their fish dinner. Everything was delicious and the best service from our wonderful waiter/Baker Connor. He was so pleasant and friendly and treated us well. The meal was delicious. They served the best salmon meal. It melted in your mouth. One of the owners ,Addison, stopped by our table twice throughout our visit to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves. We consider Chemong Lodge to be a special place for any occasion.Thank you from Duncan, Jane and David Macleod

Had prime rib 10 0z. Should be 6 oz at the very most and the rest fat, no taste at all, served with yorkshire pudding, no gravy asked for it and was given ou jous, which was warm colored water, for the price it was very disappointing, last time we were there just over 2 years ago it was amazing would not recommend eating here. And doubt we will ever go back

Took the whole family there for lunch while in town, and we all thought it was fantastic. All of the kids really enjoyed it, but one said it was his favourite restaurant. There were lots of options and all of the food tasted great - especially the BBQ! Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

We arrived a bit early and were met with a smile and promptly shown to a great table overlooking the water. We thoroughly enjoyed the C'Dawgs Brisket and Bridgenorth Beef Dip. The meat was tender and the homemade buns were the best I have had. Special touch to have a selection of sauces to choose from which you can use on your sandwich or fries. (and if you enjoy them you can buy at the little shop). Try to arrange your visit around their live entertainment as well. A gem of a restaurant.

Building filled with a sense of history. Several smaller dining areas so the place did not feel crowded. Great selection of breakfast and lunch options. I had a lot of choice as someone who foes not eat gluten, and the staff was knowledgeable about the sauce ingredients to advice me.

Fabulous food and a friendly, welcoming staff makes the Chemong Lodge dining experience hard to beat! We will definitely be returning for more of their delicious buffet feast and warm hospitality in the near future!

Such a great experience tonight for their Fondue night / Pub Night with live entertainment. This place is an absolute gem! Strongly looking forward to bringing out our friends to enjoy another great evening. Food is on point. Hosts and staff were amazing. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Our table was given to someone else. We waited over an hour between first and second course. Food was not consistent between similar dishes. Steak was not cooked to order. For a 630 reservation we didn't leave until after 830. The restaurant had built up dust on the window frame where I was seated shoulder touching the window. The table was lopsided and was too small for myself (6ft) and my partner (6'4). Will not be returning.

Arrived and were seated on time. Ordered a glass of wine each, 5 minutes later we ordered our appetizers and meal. Finally 30 minutes later we got our appetizers and still no wine. Asked again and were told they were very busy. How long does it take to pour 2 glasses of wine? The restaurant wasn't half full at this point. Finally 10 minutes later we got our wine. Enjoyed our wine and apps and sat waiting patiently for the main course. 1 hour later still hadn't arrived so I inquired. Oh were very busy, 3 minutes she said. 15 minutes later or meal arrived. My wife's steak wasn't even close to what she had ordered so she was offer another one. We said no thanks we don't have another hour to wait. We asked for our bill and dessert to go because it had been more than 2 hours since we had arrived. Just wanted to get out of there and will never be back. The management totally overbooked the restaurant for what it could handle. The worst execution of a meal l have ever had. Believe me it wasn't just me, there was a sea of miserable faces in the restaurant that night!!

What an excellent gem this place is. Came here for a luncheon involving 17 people, and were treated like royalty. Addison created a prix fixe menu for our party and was accommodating and attentive to dietary restrictions. Every item on the menu was delicious. Stand-out items were the brisket and beet salad, but all food was excellent.Emily served our table and made us very welcome, even taking the effort to know everyone's name. Superlative service and food! Very welcoming and made us feel at home.We came in the winter and could see how charming the lodge could be in the summer, very close to the lake with a beautiful outdoor patio section. Looking forward to returning!
